Hisense is stretching its CanvasTV line, both literally and figuratively, with new 75- and 85-inch models. Aimed at those who want a cinema-scale screen that doesn’t clash with their furniture or sense of style, these new additions bring more screen without extra visual noise.
Large Screens, Low Profile
The updated CanvasTV lineup sticks to Hisense’s original mission: combine smart design with sharp display tech. Both new sizes use 4K QLED panels with Quantum Dot Color and Dolby Vision support. The anti-glare Hi-Matte display helps keep reflections to a minimum, even in well-lit rooms. And the included UltraSlim wall mount creates a nearly flush fit—closer to gallery wall than gadget shelf.
This gives users the kind of screen real estate usually reserved for movie night without creating an awkward black rectangle in the living room. Hisense clearly wants CanvasTV to feel more like framed art than a flat-panel billboard.
I reviewed the 65-inch CanvasTV last year, and it ended up being one of my favorite devices of 2024. It’s the kind of thing that grabs attention—every time someone visits, they stop, point, and start asking about it. It really does make that kind of impression.
Art Mode with Custom Touches
When not streaming the latest shows, the TV shifts into Art Mode, showing either curated artwork or personal photos. The standard teak magnetic frame gives the display a polished, furniture-like finish. Optional frames (sold separately) give users a chance to better match the TV to their interior.
These thoughtful design touches let the CanvasTV blend in during off-hours—though calling an 85-inch screen “subtle” might be pushing it.
Powered by Google TV, Friendly with Smart Homes
The larger CanvasTV models run Google TV, offering more than 700,000 movies and shows and 800+ free live channels. Voice support comes via Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit compatibility. HDMI eARC and Wi-Fi 5 round out the tech checklist.
Streaming, switching inputs, or asking about the weather can all be done without reaching for the remote—or shouting at the walls.
Pricing and Availability
Hisense plans to ship the 75-inch and 85-inch CanvasTV models in the U.S. in late spring 2025. Pricing is set at $2,499.99 for the 75-inch version and $3,999.99 for the 85-inch.
