TP-Link is making it easier for homeowners to upgrade their security systems with the launch of four Home Depot-exclusive Tapo camera bundles. The new lineup is rolling out across 500 Home Depot locations nationwide as well as online, giving customers several options for monitoring their homes without committing to a monthly subscription.
Each bundle is designed to provide the essential accessories needed to begin using the camera immediately. Customers receive a complimentary 32GB microSD card, mounting hardware, and access to local AI-powered features through the Tapo app at no additional cost.
Home Security Without a Monthly Subscription
The new partnership between TP-Link Systems Inc. and Home Depot is focused on simplifying the process of setting up smart home security.
Rather than requiring customers to purchase additional storage separately or sign up for a recurring service, the Tapo bundles include local storage in the box. This allows homeowners to begin recording and managing footage as soon as their cameras are installed.
Gary Apodaca, TP-Link’s vice president of sales, said the goal was to create security products that customers could use immediately without having to make another trip to the store for essential accessories.
TCH80 KIT Brings Solar Power to Outdoor Monitoring
The TCH80 KIT is a two-camera outdoor security package aimed at homeowners who want coverage around areas such as yards, driveways, and entrances.
Both cameras use solar charging and provide 1080p Full HD live video. AI-based person detection can send alerts when people are detected, while color night vision helps maintain visibility after dark.
The cameras can deliver up to 180 days of battery life on a single charge and carry an IP65 weather-resistance rating for protection against outdoor conditions. The package also comes with two 32GB microSD cards for local video storage.
TCH62 Offers Flexible Indoor and Outdoor Coverage
For homeowners looking for a more compact security camera, the TCH62 is designed for use in a variety of locations, including living rooms, nurseries, and other areas that require additional monitoring.
The camera delivers 2K live video and uses AI to identify people and detect baby crying. Its color night vision system is supported by dual spotlights to improve visibility in dark environments.
Users can also create customized activity and privacy zones, giving them greater control over which areas the camera monitors and where alerts are generated.
TDH20 Adds Smart Monitoring to the Front Door
The TDH20 is a battery-powered video doorbell designed to provide a wider view of the area immediately around a home’s entrance.
Its 160-degree field of view is intended to capture visitors and packages from a broad perspective. The doorbell also includes a Doorbell Call feature that sends an incoming-call-style notification to the homeowner’s phone, allowing them to answer and communicate with visitors through two-way audio.
The device provides 2K live video, AI-powered person detection, preset quick responses, and battery life of up to 180 days.
TCH50 KIT Combines a Floodlight With 360-Degree Tracking
The TCH50 KIT is designed for areas that need broader nighttime coverage, including driveways, garages, and other high-traffic parts of a property.
The solar-powered camera combines pan-and-tilt movement with 360-degree tracking and an 800-lumen motion-activated floodlight. Together, these features are designed to help illuminate and monitor activity around the property.
The camera records in 2K resolution and can generate AI-powered alerts for people, pets, and vehicles. It also supports color night vision and carries an IP65 weather-resistance rating for outdoor use.
Four Bundles, Different Security Needs
The four Home Depot-exclusive Tapo products are aimed at different home security scenarios. The TCH80 KIT focuses on solar-powered outdoor coverage, while the TCH62 offers a compact option for indoor and outdoor monitoring.
For front-door security, the TDH20 combines video surveillance with doorbell functionality. Meanwhile, the TCH50 KIT is built for homeowners who want a combination of active lighting, motion tracking, and wider outdoor coverage.
The inclusion of local storage and AI features across the lineup also gives homeowners an alternative to security systems that depend heavily on cloud subscriptions.

The new Tapo security bundles are available through Home Depot stores and online, although availability varies by model.
The TCH80 KIT has a suggested retail price of $109.99, while the TCH62 is priced at $34.99. The TDH20 carries an MSRP of $49.99.
The TCH50 KIT has an MSRP of $99.99 and is available online now. According to TP-Link, the model is scheduled to reach Home Depot stores during the week of October 5, 2026.
