GUNNAR Optiks has introduced its latest gaming eyewear collaboration, drawing inspiration from one of Borderlands’ most memorable characters. The new Mad Moxxi glasses, part of the Borderlands 4 Collection, bring a mix of bold design, in-game lore, and practical vision protection to fans and players alike.
A Design as Bold as Moxxi Herself
The frames lean heavily into steampunk aesthetics, featuring a round stainless-steel build with a gold-tone finish and removable mesh side shields. Subtle details, such as heart engravings on the lens and golden heart accents at the temple tips, nod to Moxxi’s signature flair, while the deep red temple arms tie in her unmistakable color scheme.
Collectors will find plenty to appreciate, too. Each pair ships with a faux-leather case styled with a vault-inspired clasp, a microfiber pouch decorated with Borderlands patterns, and a cleaning cloth adorned with Moxxi’s portrait.

Beyond its flashy design, the Mad Moxxi model incorporates GUNNAR’s patented lens technology, well known for reducing digital eye strain during long hours in front of screens.
