Govee is putting a modern spin on vintage holiday decorations with three new lighting presets and a collaboration with creative director and designer Brady Tolbert. The company’s latest holiday campaign, “Just One. Magic Happens.,” focuses on making nostalgic Christmas lighting easier to recreate using smart lights and a few taps in the Govee Home app.
Announced October 26, the campaign features three Vintage Preset Lighting Effects: Maximalism, Hot Pink, and Classic Christmas. Each provides a ready-made lighting arrangement that can be customized to match different decorating styles, from traditional warm Christmas colors to brighter, more playful displays.
Classic Christmas Meets Modern Smart Lighting
Govee partnered with Tolbert to demonstrate how vintage-inspired lighting can fit into contemporary homes. His approach emphasizes warm amber tones, traditional reds and greens, and layered lighting that feels familiar without looking dated.
The new presets provide a starting point for holiday displays, while Govee’s existing smart lighting features allow users to adjust colors, brightness, and effects.
Through DreamView technology, compatible Govee lights can work together to create synchronized room-wide displays. AI Lighting Bot 2.0 also lets users generate lighting effects using text or voice prompts, while music synchronization allows lights to respond to Christmas songs and other audio.
Automated scheduling through the Govee Home app makes it possible to turn decorations on at dusk and off at bedtime.
