XGIMI Unveils MoGo 4 Series: Portable Projectors with Personality

XGIMI has officially introduced its latest portable projectors, the MoGo 4 and MoGo 4 Laser, to the U.S. market. Both models blend stylish design, powerful visuals, and smart features into a pint-sized form factor made for movie nights, weekend getaways, and just about anywhere else you might want a screen.

Unveiled at a media event in Paris, the MoGo 4 Series adds a built-in battery, lifestyle-driven filter effects, and gesture controls, giving users more ways to personalize their experience. Both projectors earned 2025 iF DESIGN AWARDS, signaling strong attention to build quality and aesthetics.

MoGo 4: Portable, Playful, and Packed with Features

The standard MoGo 4 delivers 1080p Full HD visuals at 450 ISO Lumens, projecting up to 120 inches. Dual 6W Harman/Kardon speakers push 360° audio, and setup is streamlined with automatic keystone correction and full 360° rotation.

Feature highlights include:

  • Magnetic Mood Filters: Comes with a Sunset filter; optional Ripple, Dreamscape, and Lunar filters offer customizable lighting effects
  • Gesture Control: Switch filters with a wave of the hand
  • Bluetooth Speaker Mode: Syncs music with reactive light pulses
  • Playback Time: Up to 2.5 hours of video (Eco Mode) or up to 6 hours of music; up to 5 hours of video when paired with the PowerBase Stand
  • Custom Accessories: Includes a detachable lanyard and infrared mini remote for easy control

The MoGo 4 Laser brings advanced projection capabilities to the same compact footprint, with triple-laser optics producing 550 ISO Lumens and 110% BT.2020 color coverage. A 1000:1 native contrast ratio boosts clarity and depth.

This upgraded model includes all four magnetic filters and adds:

  • Premium Build: Features brushed aluminum rails and a transparent base with LED accent light
  • All-in-One Remote and Lanyard: For convenient carry and fast control
  • Same Battery Life: Up to 2.5 hours of video or up to 6 hours of audio

Smart Streaming, Built Right In

Both projectors run Google TV with licensed Netflix access, plus Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, HDMI (ARC), and USB ports for smooth content streaming and device compatibility. They’re plug-and-play with most streaming services, sound systems, or external storage.

Accessories That Go the Extra Mile

XGIMI backs the MoGo 4 Series with useful add-ons that keep the experience portable without sacrificing runtime or screen size:

  • PowerBase Stand: Magnetically attaches and extends playback time via a built-in 20,000mAh battery
  • Outdoor Screen: Sets up in 60 seconds and unfolds to a wrinkle-free 70-inch display

Pricing and U.S. Availability

The MoGo 4 Series is now available at XGIMI.com and Amazon:

  • MoGo 4: MSRP $499 XGIMI | Amazon
  • MoGo 4 Laser: MSRP $799 XGIMI | Amazon
  • MoGo 4 + PowerBase Stand: MSRP $549
  • MoGo 4 Laser + PowerBase + Outdoor Screen: MSRP $899
