XGIMI has announced its HORIZON 30 Series, a new lineup of premium home projectors featuring 4K 120Hz performance, RGB Triple Laser technology, and brightness reaching 6,000 ISO lumens. First previewed at IFA 2026, the three-model collection targets home theater enthusiasts, gamers, and anyone looking to replace a traditional television with a much larger picture.
The lineup includes the HORIZON 30 Pro, HORIZON 30 Max, and HORIZON 30 Ultra Max, with regular prices starting at $2,499. Pre-orders are available now with discounts of up to $600, bringing the entry price down to $1,899.
Brighter Pictures With Better Contrast
The HORIZON 30 Series builds on XGIMI’s previous generation with improvements to brightness, contrast, and motion handling. According to the company, the new projectors deliver up to seven times the native contrast and twice the refresh rate of the HORIZON 20 Series.
All three models feature RGB Triple Laser light sources, with brightness ranging from 4,800 to 6,000 ISO lumens. That extra output should help make projection more practical in living rooms where controlling every bit of ambient light isn’t always possible.

Native contrast ranges from 8,000:1 on the Pro to 10,000:1 on the Ultra Max. XGIMI’s Dual Intelligent Iris System automatically adjusts light output based on the content, helping preserve shadow detail and prevent bright scenes from appearing washed out.
The projectors feature XGIMI’s X-Master Red Ring Lens, along with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and IMAX Enhanced.
Built for Gaming, Sports, and Movie Nights
One of the biggest upgrades is support for 4K at 120Hz across the entire HORIZON 30 lineup.
For gamers, that means support for smoother gameplay alongside Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and AMD FreeSync. These technologies help reduce screen tearing and improve responsiveness when paired with compatible gaming hardware.
Sports fans may appreciate the smoother motion during fast-moving action, particularly when following a ball or tracking players across the screen. Actual motion quality will still depend on the source material.
Movie enthusiasts get a practical benefit, too. The projectors can display traditional 24fps films evenly at 120Hz, preserving the intended cinematic cadence without uneven frame timing.
Flexible Placement Without a Dedicated Theater

XGIMI has equipped the HORIZON 30 Series with several features designed to simplify installation.
An integrated stand supports tilting and rotation, while optical zoom and lens shift allow users to adjust the picture without physically repositioning the projector. Lens Memory can store up to five configurations, useful for switching between standard widescreen content and ultrawide movies.
Intelligent Screen Adaptation handles much of the automatic image adjustment.
Each model runs Google TV for streaming access and includes two 12W Harman Kardon speakers with DTS Virtual:X. That provides a complete entertainment setup without immediately requiring an external streaming device or separate sound system.
Three Models, Different Brightness and Contrast
The core features remain consistent across the lineup, with brightness and native contrast serving as the primary differences.
| Model | Brightness | Native Contrast | Regular Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| HORIZON 30 Pro | 4,800 ISO lumens | 8,000:1 | $2,499 |
| HORIZON 30 Max | 5,300 ISO lumens | 9,000:1 | $2,999 |
| HORIZON 30 Ultra Max | 6,000 ISO lumens | 10,000:1 | $3,499 |
All three support 4K 120Hz projection and feature the same dual 12W Harman Kardon speaker configuration.
