Jackery is expanding beyond portable power stations with a broader push into residential backup energy, introducing three new HomePower battery systems alongside FridgeGuard, a dedicated refrigerator backup battery designed to stay permanently connected and ready for outages.
The announcements mark a growing focus on whole-home and appliance-specific backup solutions as homeowners look for quieter, easier-to-manage alternatives to traditional gas generators. Rather than requiring permanent installation or complex electrical work, Jackery’s latest products emphasize plug-and-play operation, battery expansion, and app-based energy management.
Three HomePower Models Target Different Backup Needs
The new HomePower lineup consists of the HomePower 3600 Pro Max, HomePower 2000 Plus v2, and HomePower 1000 v2, each aimed at different levels of home energy protection.
At the top of the range, the HomePower 3600 Pro Max offers a 3,584Wh base capacity that can expand to 43kWh with additional batteries. It provides up to 4,000W of output, supports both 120V and 240V operation, features a 10ms UPS-grade switchover, and works with a manual transfer switch for automatic backup functionality. Jackery says it can recharge in as little as 80 minutes through a high-power AC connection.

The HomePower 2000 Plus v2 starts with 2,048Wh of capacity and expands to 12kWh. It delivers 2,400W of continuous output with 4,800W peak surge power, making it suitable for refrigerators, lighting, air conditioners, and other household essentials during outages. Jackery notes that the updated model is 21 pounds lighter than its predecessor.
Rounding out the lineup is the HomePower 1000 v2, which focuses on home office and networking equipment. It includes 1,024Wh of capacity, 1,500W output, sub-10ms switchover, and built-in surge protection designed to keep computers, routers, and modems running through brief outages.
All three models use LiFePO4 batteries rated for at least 6,000 charge cycles, which Jackery says equates to roughly 16 years of daily use.
FridgeGuard Puts the Refrigerator First

Jackery is taking a different approach with FridgeGuard, a dedicated battery backup built specifically for refrigerators and other critical household appliances. Measuring just 2.6 inches thick, the company says it is the world’s slimmest refrigerator backup battery and is designed to blend into modern kitchens rather than hide away in a garage.
The system connects inline between the wall outlet and refrigerator, remaining on standby until power is lost. It offers a 10ms UPS switchover, 1,024Wh capacity, up to 15 hours of runtime, and optional expansion for as much as 30 hours. It supports refrigerators with compressor startup demands through 1,600W peak output and includes surge protection, bypass charging, app monitoring, Time-of-Use scheduling, and solar or vehicle charging for extended outages. Jackery says the unit is compatible with 99% of modern refrigerators.
The battery platform is built around LiFePO4 cells rated for 6,000 cycles and carries a five-year warranty. FridgeGuard operates below 40dB and is certified to UL1778, UL1741, and UL1973 safety standards.
