Jackery has announced a new long-term partnership with the American Red Cross aimed at strengthening disaster response efforts through portable backup power. The initiative, called Power the Rescuers, centers around a new lineup of co-branded energy storage products and a commitment to provide power solutions directly to first responders and relief organizations.
At the heart of the program is the new Jackery HomePower Emergency Pro Series, a collection of portable power stations designed for emergency preparedness, disaster recovery, and off-grid operation when traditional infrastructure is unavailable.
A New Commitment to Frontline Support
Natural disasters continue to place increasing strain on emergency response teams, particularly during extended power outages. Whether supporting medical operations, communications equipment, shelters, or field command centers, reliable electricity remains one of the most critical resources in the hours and days following a disaster.
Through the Power the Rescuers initiative, Jackery says it will donate 10% of profits from every HomePower Emergency Pro Series unit sold. Those contributions will be delivered in the form of mobile power equipment for organizations and personnel working on the front lines of disaster response.
The launch marks another milestone for the company and comes with a notable endorsement from the American Red Cross. According to Jackery, the HomePower Emergency Pro Series is the first battery backup product line to receive an endorsement from the organization.
Designed for Emergency Preparedness
The HomePower Emergency Pro Series builds on Jackery’s portable power expertise with features tailored for crisis situations.
Among the headline additions are automated charging capabilities that can proactively top off batteries when severe weather alerts are detected, along with an emergency power reserve function that allows users to maintain a designated amount of battery capacity for critical situations.

The Red Cross Edition models feature a rescue-red finish and prominent American Red Cross branding, making them easy to identify in high-pressure environments.
Jackery positions the lineup as a cleaner and quieter alternative for many scenarios where gas generators may be difficult to transport or impractical to use indoors.
Three Models for Different Response Scenarios
The HomePower Emergency Pro Series will launch with three models designed for varying levels of power demand.
The Jackery HomePower 3600 Plus Red Cross Edition offers 3.6kWh of capacity and is intended for larger deployments such as community shelters, command centers, and emergency communication hubs.
The Jackery HomePower 2000 Plus v2 Red Cross Edition provides 2kWh of capacity and is designed for mobile medical and transportation applications, including ambulances and temporary triage stations.
Rounding out the lineup is the Jackery HomePower 1000 Plus v2 Red Cross Edition, a 1kWh portable unit built for rapid-response teams that need reliable power for communication devices, lighting, navigation equipment, and personal essentials.
Think of it as a rescue fleet where each member has a different assignment, from powering a shelter to keeping a radio charged miles from the nearest outlet.
Looking Beyond Product Sales
Jackery says the Power the Rescuers program represents a long-term commitment rather than a one-time campaign. The company plans to publish an annual impact report every August 19 on World Humanitarian Day, detailing equipment donations and sharing stories from organizations benefiting from the initiative.
The announcement builds on Jackery’s previous disaster relief efforts, which included financial contributions and solar generator donations following major weather-related emergencies in California and Florida.
Availability
The Jackery HomePower Emergency Pro Series will be available to both relief organizations and consumers beginning in September 2026 through Jackery’s website.
