LiberNovo has officially brought its dynamic seating lineup to IFA 2026, headlined by the European launch of the LiberNovo Maxis. Built explicitly for big and tall users, the new chair addresses a common headache in office ergonomics: standard chairs built strictly for average frames. The Maxis arrives in Europe alongside two fresh iterations in the company’s broader lineup, the Omni Pro and Omni SE.
Engineered for Larger Frames
Most office chairs treat human dimensions as a one-size-fits-most proposition, which rarely works out well for taller or heavier individuals. The LiberNovo Maxis takes aim at that gap, catering to users between 5’10” and 6’7″ (178 to 200 cm) with a reinforced structural design rated for up to 399 pounds (181 kg).
To prevent that awkward feeling of perching on the edge of a seat, the Maxis features an enlarged frame paired with a 52 cm seat depth. Buyers can choose from three distinct hardware trims (Electric, Manual, or Airflow) depending on whether they prioritize motorized tweaks, mechanical adjustments, or extra breathability.
Dynamic Support That Adjusts on the Fly
Rather than locking the spine into a rigid, upright posture, the Maxis adapts to how people actually shift throughout the workday. Central to that movement is LiberNovo’s Bionic FlexFit Backrest, which relies on 16 articulating joints and eight adaptive panels to contour against the back.
The backrest works in tandem with LiberNovo’s SyncroLink Mechanism System for continuous spinal support, alongside an adaptive lumbar system that tracks natural movement. Across five recline angles ranging from 105° to 160°, the chair supports upright desk tasks, laid-back browsing, or full midday recline breaks. Select models also include an OmniStretch massage function for built-in tension relief during long sessions.
Expanded Omni Lineup: Omni Pro and Omni SE
LiberNovo is also expanding its core Omni series in Berlin, targeting two specific user priorities: cooling and mechanical simplicity.
The Omni Pro takes aim at heat buildup during marathon desk work or gaming sessions. It incorporates integrated seat ventilation built on a five-layer breathable structure with active airflow.
Meanwhile, the Omni SE serves as a streamlined, accessible entry point. It preserves the core ergonomic architecture of the flagship line but swaps out electric motor components in favor of a precision mechanical manual-adjustment system.
European Availability
The LiberNovo Maxis is available to order across European markets starting today, rounding out a multi-tiered catalog that includes the Omni Pro and Omni SE.
