Flowtica has opened reservations for Verso, a magnetic AI voice recorder and e-paper productivity device designed to help professionals manage meetings, capture conversations, and keep important information visible without constantly checking their smartphones. The device is available to reserve through Flowtica’s website for $10 (£7.50), with full availability scheduled for November 17, 2026.
First unveiled at IFA 2026, Verso received three awards, including Techlicious’ “30 Best Products of IFA 2026,” Apartment Therapy’s “Best in Show,” and Trusted Reviews’ “Best in IFA.” The device combines voice recording, artificial intelligence, and an always-on e-paper touchscreen to help users stay focused during meetings while keeping decisions, summaries, and follow-up tasks within easy reach.
Customers who reserve Verso can secure a purchase price of $199 (£150), three months of the Unlimited AI plan valued at $90 (£68), and a Folio Lite notebook when the device becomes available. Amazon availability is expected in early 2027.
An E-Paper Display Designed for Focused Work
Verso attaches magnetically to the back of a smartphone and features a 259 PPI e-paper touchscreen that displays live transcriptions, meeting summaries, follow-up tasks, and AI-generated answers. Information appears as conversations progress, allowing users to review important details without repeatedly unlocking their phones or navigating multiple applications.
The display is designed to remain readable in direct sunlight and can retain a displayed image without consuming power to maintain it. By avoiding conventional smartphone notifications and visual distractions, Verso provides a dedicated surface for essential work information.
The device weighs approximately 70 grams and features a frame machined from a single piece of aluminium-magnesium alloy. It supports MagSafe-compatible iPhones and can also work with Android smartphones using a compatible magnetic ring.
Advanced Audio Recording With Transparent Indicators
Verso uses a dedicated Record button to capture conversations, supported by four MEMS microphones and a contact microphone that uses vibrations to capture audio. According to Flowtica, the audio system can pick up conversations from distances of up to five meters and support recordings involving as many as 15 speakers.
A visible recording indicator remains on the screen throughout recording and cannot be disabled. This feature is designed to make recording activity clear to people in the surrounding environment, particularly during professional discussions.
The device supports three core recording scenarios: in-person meetings, online meetings through the Flowtica Mac desktop application, and phone calls captured through its contact microphone when attached to a smartphone.
AI Transcription, Summaries, and Follow-Up Assistance
After recording, Flowtica’s cloud-based AI processes conversations into multilingual transcripts, separates speakers, and generates structured summaries. These summaries help users identify decisions, action items, and follow-up tasks without reviewing entire recordings.
Verso also includes FlowMark, a feature that lets users flag important moments while a conversation is taking place. This makes it easier to return to significant statements or decisions when reviewing meeting notes later.
The dedicated Ask AI button provides another way to interact with recorded information. Users can ask questions about previous notes, retrieve relevant context before a meeting, and draft follow-up emails. Responses appear directly on the e-paper display, helping users access information without switching between applications.
The device is designed to support the entire meeting workflow. Before a discussion, it can surface relevant notes from previous meetings. During the conversation, users can capture key points and mark important moments. Afterward, they can review summaries and identify the next steps.
Flexible Mounting and Connectivity Options
Verso is designed for different working environments and can be attached to a smartphone, worn on a lanyard, placed on a desk stand, or mounted on a compatible magnetic surface, including a fridge or whiteboard.
It also incorporates an NFC-enabled digital business card, allowing users to share their contact information by tapping the device with a compatible smartphone. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi provide wireless connectivity for synchronizing information and managing recordings.
For storage and everyday use, Verso includes 64GB of onboard storage, USB-C charging, and a claimed battery life of up to 72 hours. These features are intended to support extended work schedules and multiple days of professional activity between charges.
Designed for Professionals Across Different Industries
Flowtica positions Verso as a productivity tool for professionals who need to capture information accurately and retrieve it quickly.
Executives can review outstanding decisions between meetings, while lawyers can record client discussions and revisit important moments. Sales professionals and financial advisers can keep action items visible during consultations, helping them stay organized throughout conversations.
Clinicians may also find the device useful because of its camera-free design and visible recording indicator, although its suitability for clinical use will depend on applicable privacy rules, consent requirements, and workplace policies. Content creators can use it to capture brainstorming sessions and retrieve ideas when developing projects.
By keeping summaries, decisions, and follow-up tasks visible on a dedicated screen, Verso aims to reduce the need to switch repeatedly between recording tools, note-taking applications, and smartphone screens.
