Flowtica has introduced Verso, a dedicated AI productivity companion designed to snap directly onto the back of a smartphone and put meeting intelligence on an always-on e-paper screen. Unveiled at IFA in Berlin, the compact device records spoken dialogue, processes structured summaries in the cloud, and keeps action items visible without requiring users to dive into an app.
Hardware Tailored for the Daily Commute and Conference Room
Weighing 98 grams and machined from a single piece of aluminum-magnesium alloy, Flowtica Verso attaches magnetically to MagSafe-compatible phones, sits on a desk stand, or hangs from a lanyard. It serves as a secondary, distraction-free surface for busy professionals who spend their days navigating interviews, consultations, and team syncs.
The audio array pairs four MEMS microphones with a bone-conduction microphone, picking up voices from up to 16.4 feet (5 meters) away. Internally, Verso packs 64 GB of onboard storage, USB-C charging, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and an integrated NFC digital business card for quick contact sharing. It also promises up to 72 hours of battery life—a generous run made possible by its display choice.
Glanceable Intelligence on an E-Paper Screen
Most voice recorders force you to hunt through smartphone menus just to verify an action item. Verso sidesteps that loop by using an always-on 259ppi e-paper touchscreen that keeps transcripts, calendars, and follow-ups in plain view without the glare or notification pings of standard mobile screens.
A single press starts recording. Flowtica’s cloud AI can differentiate up to 15 speakers, deliver multilingual transcripts, and distill discussions into structured recaps of core decisions. During active meetings, users can tap to drop a “FlowMark” bookmark on critical points without derailing the room’s momentum. Holding the dedicated “Ask AI” button lets users query past notes, draft emails, or configure custom productivity dashboards. Companion software via the Flowtica app remains available whenever deeper management is needed, but the primary interactions stay right on the hardware.
Transparent Recording and Portfolio Growth
To alleviate privacy concerns in client-facing environments, Verso omits cameras entirely. A dedicated recording indicator lights up automatically whenever audio capture is active and cannot be toggled off, providing a clear visual cue to everyone at the table.
Verso joins the Flowtica Scribe—an AI recording and handwriting pen—as the brand expands its lineup of purpose-built productivity hardware. Both devices will be on display at IFA in Hall 5.2, Booth 304.
