Aurzen has introduced the ZIP Pro at IFA 2026, presenting what it describes as the world’s first tri-fold Full HD pocket projector. Designed around mobility, the new device combines native 1080p resolution, a compact folding structure and built-in battery power to deliver a large-screen viewing experience in locations where traditional TVs and projectors may not be practical.
The ZIP Pro is designed to make portable projection easier by combining the projector, stand and controls into a compact device that can be carried between different locations.
A Tri-Fold Design Made for Portability
The ZIP Pro introduces a distinctive Z-shaped tri-fold structure that allows the projector to fold into a compact form for transportation. When unfolded, the structure doubles as an integrated multi-angle stand, eliminating the need to carry a separate support.
Aurzen says the projector measures approximately 487cc and weighs 586 grams, making it suitable for users who want to take a large-screen entertainment device on the road.
Slim Optical Engine Keeps the Projector Compact
One of the key engineering features is Aurzen’s claimed 10.7mm ultra-slim optical engine, which helps the company fit projection hardware into the ZIP Pro’s compact body.
The projector produces 200 ANSI lumens alongside native 1080p Full HD resolution. Aurzen says the system has been optimized primarily for dark-room and evening viewing, balancing image performance with the compact size and portable nature of the device.
Automatic Setup Simplifies Projection
The ZIP Pro is equipped with Time-of-Flight (ToF) autofocus and four-point keystone correction. These features are designed to reduce the amount of manual adjustment required when moving the projector between different locations.
Users can unfold the projector, position it and make minimal corrections before beginning playback, making the device more practical for spontaneous viewing sessions.
Multiple Ways to Connect and Stream
Aurzen has equipped the ZIP Pro with a broad selection of wireless and wired connectivity options. It supports AirPlay, Miracast, DLNA and Google Cast, giving users several ways to send content from compatible devices.
The projector also features AirLink P2P, which allows screen mirroring without requiring a Wi-Fi network.
For wired connections, the USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode, allowing compatible smartphones and laptops to connect directly to the projector.

Designed With Gamers in Mind
The ZIP Pro also targets portable gaming, with Aurzen introducing what it describes as an industry-first Type-C direct projection feature for Nintendo Switch.
A dedicated Game Mode is included to provide faster response during gameplay, making the compact projector suitable for gaming sessions away from a conventional television.
Vertical Video Gets Full-Screen Treatment
The projector is also designed around the way many people consume content on smartphones. Its Vertical Full-Screen Mode can display vertical video across the projection area without the traditional black bars associated with fitting portrait content onto a landscape display.
Aurzen has also added an Smart Touch Display directly to the device. The display provides information such as battery status and connection details while also giving users access to controls.
Private Viewing for Two People
For personal viewing, the ZIP Pro includes dual 2W stereo speakers and can operate at noise levels as low as 24dB, according to Aurzen.
Another unusual feature is its dual Bluetooth headphone output, which allows two people to connect wireless headphones simultaneously for private viewing without disturbing others nearby.
Built-In Battery Supports Up to 2.5 Hours
The ZIP Pro is equipped with a 38Wh integrated battery, providing up to 2.5 hours of viewing on a charge.
The projector supports 65W USB-C PD charging, allowing users to recharge it using compatible USB-C power sources. This makes it easier to use the projector in locations where a conventional power outlet may not be readily available.
Availability and Price
The Aurzen ZIP Pro is now available for pre-order through Aurzen’s official website. The projector has an MSRP of $629.99, while a limited-time introductory promotion reduces the price to $579.99.
With its combination of native 1080p projection, tri-fold construction, integrated battery, wireless connectivity and gaming support, the ZIP Pro is positioned as a portable entertainment solution for travel, outdoor use, gaming and everyday viewing.
