The Phiaton PS 20 NC are noise-cancelling earphones with the same half-in-ear design as the PS 20 BT Bluetooth model reviewed previously. Noise cancellation works via a AAA battery housed in the inline module; it can be left off in quieter environments and has proven to last through a month of regular use without needing replacement.
Sound quality is excellent and well-balanced across genres, with crisp highs and deep bass on hip hop, electronic, and dubstep tracks. Podcasts and voice audio are particularly strong. Four silicone tip sizes (XS, S, M, L) ensure a comfortable fit across ear sizes. Comes with a closeable magnetic suede carrying case, an airplane adapter, and a 1-year warranty.
