The renowned loudspeaker brand Bowers & Wilkins has introduced new flagship wireless earbuds – the Pi8 and Pi6. The brand has completely redesigned its new wireless earbuds with a new shape for improved comfort and audiophile sound quality. The new Pi8 and Pi6 wireless earbuds feature a new industrial design combining premium materials and ergonomic form factor, ensuring a comfortable listen for every user. B&W claims these are the most beautifully designed, highly comfortable, and best-sounding earbuds the brand has ever produced.

Along with earbuds, the brand also completely revamped the charging cases for both earbuds which are now more slimmer than before. Like other premium earbuds, B&W also used Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive Bluetooth codec, offering audio up to 24-bit/96kHz with compatible devices. In addition, the Pi8 also features aptX Lossless CD-quality codec with Snapdragon Sound technology.

Successor to the Pi7 and Pi7S2, the Pi8 uses B&W’s Carbon cone technology-made new 12mm sound drivers powered by a dedicated DSP, DAC, and amplifier from ADI, delivering amazing Hi-Res certified audio over Bluetooth. While the Pi6 houses a new 12mm bio-cellulose driver made from the same material used in Px7S2 and Px7S2e over-ear headphones. The Pi6’s new sound drivers are tuned to offer big sound with warm bass and crisp highs.

B&W incorporated a high-end active noise cancellation tech in both models that filter out unwanted noise from the background without impacting the music and ensures an immersive listening experience even in noisy environments.

The Pi6 offers up to 8 hours of battery life with ANC on a single charge which is up from 5 hours on the previous model Pi5. And, with the charging case, it goes up to 16 hours. However, compared to the other premium earbuds, this something still falls behind. Meanwhile, the flagship Pi8 model lasts up to 6.5 hours on a single charge and up to 13.5 hours with the charging case. Both models have fast charging support, with 15 minutes of charging, you can expect around two hours of playback time.

Another noticeable improvement is the support for Multipoint connectivity which wasn’t offered in the last generation models. With the Bluetooth Multipoint, you can connect the earbuds up to two devices simultaneously.

The Pi6 comes in Storm Grey, Cloud Grey, Forest Green, and Glacier Blue color options. On the other hand, the Pi8 earbuds are also available in four beautiful color options – Dove White, Jade Green, Midnight Blue, and Anthracite Black.

The Bowers & Wilkins Pi8 flagship model is priced at $399/ £349 and is now available via B&W’s official site. While the Pi6 retails at $249/£219 and will be available from September 15.

Motorola’s new budget-conscious smartphone comes with a decent set of features including a 50MP rear camera, 5,000mAh battery, 120Hz panel, and more. Starting at INR 10,999 ($130) for the base 4GB/128GB variant, while the 8GB/128GB model retails at INR 12,999 ($155). It comes in three color options – Brilliant Blue, Brilliant Green, and Viva Magneta.

Now, drivers can book parking spaces at 30,000 locations in North America without doing the dreaded “parking spot shuffle.” Waze joins Google Search and Google Maps in Flash’s lineup of digital tools to help drivers avoid that awkward, slow drive around the block… again.

When drivers search for their destination in Waze, the app throws in a little extra: nearby parking options that can be reserved in advance. Prices, amenities, wheelchair-accessible spots, and even valet services are all clearly shown, letting drivers decide on the perfect parking spot without any guesswork. Once booked, Waze will happily guide drivers right to their reserved spot, and a digital pass means no fumbling with paper tickets or receipts.

Dan Roarty, Flash’s Chief Digital Officer, summed it up nicely: “Driver behaviors are shifting.” Flash seems to be on top of it, too, integrating reservable parking and charging options directly into the apps drivers already know and use. It’s a small victory against that all-too-familiar experience of circling the block like a car on a mission, only to land back where you started.

Parking operators are seeing good results from this, with over 90% of customers being new to their locations. Drivers using Google Search book parking around 8.5 hours in advance and typically from about 22 miles away—proving that some drivers really do plan ahead.

Flash’s integrations with Waze, Google Search, and Google Maps don’t just make life easier for drivers. They provide operators with unified data on availability, pricing, and performance, cutting down on the chaos of managing multiple platforms. OnePlus launched its new flagship OnePlus Buds Pro 3 earbuds to take on the recently launched Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. Successor to last year’s launched OnePlus Buds Pro 2 comes with solid upgrades without a price bump, which is truly impressive. The Buds Pro 2 earbuds are still on my top five best wireless earbuds lists thanks to their amazing sound and striking design. And, its upgraded version is just getting better in terms of looks and overall performance.

There are no changes in the Buds Pro 3’s design. It retains the same two-tone finish design as its predecessor, while the OnePlus overhauled the case design, featuring an oval-shaped design with a premium vegan-leather aesthetic. The new charging case design truly looks premium and makes it more compact. 

OnePlus packs dual sound drivers: an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter inside each bud. It is the same dual-driver technology found in the OnePlus Buds Pro 2.
