Verizon officially announced the Droid Pro at CTIA Enterprise & Applications 2010. Billed as the first Android smartphone optimized for business use, it was also the first global-ready Android device from Verizon, supporting wireless voice in more than 220 countries and data in more than 200 countries.

- Android 2.2 with MOTOBLUR
- 1GHz processor
- 3.1-inch full multi-touch display
- Full QWERTY keyboard designed for speed
- 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and DVD-quality video
- 4GB total memory (2GB internal, 2GB removable)
- Full push corporate email with Exchange support, corporate directory lookup, and unified calendar
- Built-in VPN, remote wipe, complex password support, and SD card encryption (coming early 2011)
- 3G Mobile Hotspot for up to five Wi-Fi devices
- DLNA connectivity over Wi-Fi
- Adobe Flash Player 10.1
- Quickoffice Mobile Suite preloaded
Pricing was to be announced closer to launch, with availability in Verizon stores in the coming weeks.
