TECNO has officially announced the SPARK 50 Pro, a new smartphone aimed at users who want long battery life, dependable performance, and enhanced durability without sacrificing style. The latest addition to the SPARK series arrives with a slim design, large-capacity battery options, a Sony-powered camera system, and water and dust resistance ratings typically reserved for more expensive devices.
Built for Years of Daily Use
The TECNO SPARK 50 Pro is offered in two battery configurations: a 5600mAh dual-cell version and a 6000mAh single-cell model. Both are designed with longevity in mind, with TECNO stating the batteries can withstand more than 1,900 charge cycles while retaining over 80% of their original capacity after six years of use, according to testing conducted by TECNO Lab.
Charging speeds are equally notable. The device supports 60W Super Charge technology, reaching 63% battery in 30 minutes and a full charge in approximately 55 minutes. Users can choose between Hyper, Smart, and Low-Temperature charging modes, depending on whether speed or thermal management is the priority. Bypass charging is included as well, allowing power to flow directly to the motherboard during demanding tasks such as gaming and streaming.
Entertainment-Focused Hardware
Powering the SPARK 50 Pro is the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate processor, which TECNO says achieves an AnTuTu benchmark score of around 550,000. The phone supports Memory Fusion 4.0, providing up to 24GB of available memory through a combination of physical and virtual RAM.
The handset features a 6.78-inch display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, helping deliver smoother scrolling and animations. Dual stereo speakers with DTS Sound round out the multimedia package, making the device well suited for streaming video, mobile gaming, and music playback.
Sony Camera and FlashSnap Photography
Photography is a major focus of the SPARK 50 Pro. The device is equipped with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main camera featuring a large 1/1.953-inch sensor designed to capture more light and improve image quality in challenging lighting conditions.
TECNO is pairing that hardware with its FlashSnap technology, which supports shutter speeds of up to 1/10,000 second. The feature is intended to help users capture fast-moving subjects, from pets and sports to vehicles and candid moments.
The camera experience is supplemented by several AI-powered tools, including AI Eraser 2.0 for removing unwanted objects and AI Extender for adjusting image composition. Live Photo support captures motion before and after the shutter is pressed, and TECNO’s Universal Tone technology is designed to produce natural-looking skin tones across a range of environments.
Slim Profile, Strong Protection
Despite housing a large battery, the SPARK 50 Pro measures just 7.8mm thick. The device carries Swiss SGS Five-Star Premium Drop Resistance certification and includes IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. That combination means protection against dust intrusion, accidental spills, rain, and even high-pressure water exposure.
Additional features include FreeLink 2.0 for supported off-grid communication scenarios, 4.5G and 4G carrier aggregation, AI Noise Cancellation for clearer calls, and TECNO’s Ella AI Agent and AI Health Assistant for productivity and wellness-related functions.
The TECNO SPARK 50 Pro will be available in Ink Black, Titanium Grey, Midnight Blue, Dynamic Orange, and Cloud White.
