REDMAGIC 11S Pro Launches Globally with Advanced Cooling

Nubia’s gaming sub-brand REDMAGIC has announced the global launch of the REDMAGIC 11S Pro, the company’s latest flagship gaming phone that focuses on sustained performance through an upgraded cooling system and gaming-focused features. The new model seeks to deliver longer high-frame-rate sessions with fewer thermal throttling interruptions, while bringing hardware and software refinements aimed at competitive mobile gamers.

Design and Display: Bold, Purposeful Styling

The REDMAGIC 11S Pro keeps the angular, gamer-oriented aesthetic of its predecessors, with a sharp metal-and-glass finish and customizable RGB lighting on the rear. The device sports a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a high refresh rate geared for competitive play and smooth animations. The display supports HDR content, strong peak brightness for outdoor visibility, and precise touch sampling tuned for fast inputs.

Cooling Upgrades: Sustained Performance Focus

REDMAGIC highlights a multi-layered cooling solution as the centerpiece of the 11S Pro. The system combines a larger vapor chamber, expanded graphite layers, and an upgraded internal fan with improved airflow dynamics. Together with thermal gel and strategically placed heat pipes, the design aims to dissipate heat more effectively across the SoC and battery area. According to REDMAGIC, the result is reduced temperature spikes under prolonged gaming loads, which should help maintain high CPU/GPU clock speeds longer than earlier models.

Hardware and Performance: Flagship-class Components

Under the hood, the 11S Pro arrives with a top-tier chipset to match its gaming ambitions, paired with generous RAM and fast UFS storage. The combination is tuned to deliver low latency and quick load times for large game assets. REDMAGIC also includes a range of dedicated gaming features such as shoulder triggers, a customizable game space UI that prioritizes resources, and network optimization for reduced lag during online play.

Battery and Charging: Balance of Capacity and Speed

The phone offers a 7,500 mAh high-capacity battery designed to support extended sessions, and it supports fast wired charging to get players back in the action quickly. REDMAGIC notes optimizations to balance charging thermal loads with performance demands so charging does not overly increase device temperature during use.

Cameras and Software: Gaming-first but Capable

While clearly aimed at gamers, the 11S Pro retains a 50 MP main camera setup for everyday photography, including a multi-camera array on the back and a competent front-facing 16 MP shooter for streaming and video calls. On the software side, the phone ships with REDMAGIC’s gaming-focused UI layered over Android; the UI includes tools for recording gameplay, performance profiles, and network tools for competitive matches.
