RayNeo is expanding its consumer augmented reality lineup with three new sets of glasses built around two distinctly different use cases. The 33-gram RayNeo iO Smart Glasses focus on everyday productivity and AI-assisted information, and the new RayNeo GT and GT Max target portable entertainment with large virtual displays and spatial audio.
All three models are scheduled to go on sale September 4, 2026, through RayNeo’s website and Amazon store. RayNeo plans to demonstrate the new hardware at IFA 2026 in Berlin from September 4 through September 8.
RayNeo iO Puts AI Information in Front of Your Eyes
The RayNeo iO Smart Glasses use a 23.5-degree field of view and a monochrome green Firefly Nano Engine paired with a Blue Lake diffractive waveguide. RayNeo lists 97% optical transparency and up to 1,300 nits of eye-level brightness. The displayed information is designed to remain invisible to nearby observers.
Rather than functioning as entertainment glasses, the iO is geared toward professionals who want schedules, translations, meeting information, and prompts within their line of sight.
RayNeo’s Ambient AI Life Log can capture schedule and conversation context, extract action items following meetings, and suggest calendar updates. Users can confirm certain actions with a head gesture.
RayNeo AI and Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite power core AI functions. An optional multi-model tier lets users select services including Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, and DeepSeek through the companion app.
Live translation uses Timekettle BabelOS 3.0 and supports 55 languages and 109 accents, with RayNeo claiming roughly one-second latency. An Auto-Teleprompter can move through scripts based on the user’s speaking pace.
There are no built-in speakers. A four-microphone array and bone-conduction sensor handle voice capture. RayNeo rates the 240mAh battery for up to two days of typical use, 18 hours of continuous recording, or 6.2 hours of continuous translation.
The glasses support Bluetooth 5.4, Android and iOS, Apple MFi certification, IP54 resistance, and a physical Smart Crown control. A hardwired LED illuminates when recording or translation functions are active.
RayNeo GT and GT Max Focus on Portable Entertainment
The RayNeo GT Series takes a very different route, turning the glasses into a wearable display for movies, games, and other media.
The 68-gram RayNeo GT provides a 46-degree field of view and virtual display sizes up to 231 inches. The 78-gram GT Max uses RayNeo’s Peacock Optical Engine 3.0 Max and a 5.5-generation Tandem MicroOLED display, increasing the field of view to 59 degrees.
GT Max users can select virtual screen sizes of 227, 267, or 307 inches.
Both GT models use RayNeo’s Zone 360 hardware for 3DoF tracking. Steady Mode compensates for movement during travel, Pinned Mode anchors the virtual display in space, and Follow Mode keeps it positioned relative to the viewer.
Audio comes from a quad-speaker system co-tuned by Bang & Olufsen, with head-tracked spatial audio and a directional Whisper Mode. When paired with RayNeo Pocket TV Pro, the GT Series supports native Dolby Vision playback and AI-based SDR-to-HDR conversion.

Sales Begin September 4
RayNeo iO will be offered in Polar Night dark gray and Dune gold finishes. The GT family will include GT and GT Max configurations, with custom prescription lens inserts supported for both.
