Lenovo Googlebook 15 Pairs Gemini AI With a 2.8K OLED Display
Lenovo is expanding its laptop lineup with the Lenovo Googlebook 15, the company’s first Googlebook and a premium 15-inch portable built around Google’s Gemini AI features. It combines an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor with up to 32GB of memory and 512GB of storage, with prices starting at $1,099.99.
The new model targets professionals, creators, and business owners who want Google’s connected computing experience in a larger laptop without carrying something particularly bulky. Lenovo says the Googlebook 15 weighs less than three pounds, making it the lightest 15-inch device in its current portfolio.
A 15-Inch OLED Takes Center Stage

One of the more compelling pieces of hardware is the display. Lenovo equipped the Googlebook 15 with a 15-inch 2.8K OLED touchscreen supporting a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage.
The laptop pairs that screen with a haptic touchpad and a quad-speaker Dolby Atmos system. Pinch, zoom, and precision-scrolling gestures are supported through the touchpad, giving Lenovo’s first Googlebook some decidedly premium hardware touches.
Battery life is rated at up to 12.5 hours, based on Lenovo’s internal testing. The metal chassis has an anti-fingerprint coating, and a feature called Glowbar provides battery and charging information when the laptop’s lid is closed. Fingerprint and facial authentication are included, along with a physical camera shutter for privacy.
Gemini Gets Some New Tricks

AI plays a substantial role in Lenovo’s pitch. The Intel Core Ultra 5 platform delivers up to 47 TOPS, with Gemini Intelligence integrated into the experience.
A feature called Magic Pointer lets users shake the cursor to call up Gemini and perform contextual tasks. Lenovo’s examples include combining two images into a poster or adding a date directly to the calendar. The Googlebook 15 can sync with Android devices for access to apps and files from a connected phone.
Rambler tackles voice input. Pressing the dedicated dictation key allows users to speak naturally while the software removes filler words and formats the resulting text. It can handle language changes in the middle of a sentence, according to Lenovo.
There’s a companion Lenovo AI Mouse, too, designed specifically for Googlebook. It provides one-click Gemini access, Magic Pointer actions, and customizable controls. The release does not provide pricing or availability details for the mouse.
Google AI Pro Is Included For 12 Months

Eligible buyers receive a 12-month Google AI Pro trial, which includes expanded Gemini access, 5TB of cloud storage, and subscriptions to apps including Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, and CapCut. The offer is available in select countries, including the U.S., and converts to a paid Google AI Pro subscription after the trial if it isn’t canceled.
The Lenovo Googlebook 15 goes on sale October 4, 2026, starting at $1,099.99. Exact configurations, colors, and availability may vary by market.
