Also at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, HTC unveiled updates to three of its most popular Android lines: the Incredible S, Wildfire S, and Desire S. All three would roll out across Europe and Asia during Q2 2011.
The Incredible S featured a 4-inch WVGA Super LCD display, an 8-megapixel camera with dual LED flash, a front-facing camera, and DLNA support for sharing content on larger screens.
The Desire S came with an aluminum unibody design similar to the HTC Legend, powered by a Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon MSM8255 processor. It offered a 3.7-inch touchscreen and both front- and rear-facing HD cameras.
The Wildfire S was one of HTC’s smallest phones to date, with a 3.2-inch HVGA display and a 5-megapixel camera. Targeted at a younger, social-media-focused audience, it measured just 10.13cm x 5.94cm and came in black, purple, and white.
All three ran HTC Sense on top of Android.
