COROS and Wahoo Fitness Team Up for Epic Training Cross-Compatibility

In a move that is sure to excite endurance athletes everywhere, industry leaders COROS and Wahoo Fitness have officially announced a major partnership designed to give you ultimate control over your training. By combining their expertise, these two powerhouses are breaking down the barriers between different hardware and software platforms, making it easier than ever to build a better athlete.

This collaboration is all about flexibility, allowing “Wahooligans” and COROS fans alike to choose the tools that best fit their unique goals.

Seamless Integration for Your Hardest Efforts

The heart of this new partnership is a two-way API integration. Gone are the days of manual uploads or missing data; now, activity files recorded on either a COROS or Wahoo device will automatically sync to both the COROS training platform and the Wahoo app. This interoperability ensures you have a unified training history, regardless of which device you used for your morning run or evening ride.

Additionally, indoor training is getting a massive boost. COROS watches can now connect directly to the Wahoo KICKR RUN treadmill via Bluetooth. This allows accurate data from the treadmill to be sent straight to your watch, giving you total confidence in your indoor metrics without the need for any extra sensors. As Wahoo CEO Gareth Joyce noted, this creates a “connected running experience” where indoor and outdoor workouts finally live together in one view.

More Gear, More Style

The collaboration extends beyond just data. COROS watches, specifically the APEX 4 and PACE 4, will now be available for purchase directly through WahooFitness.com. But the integration doesn’t stop at the store page. Athletes can also expect:

  • Custom Wahoo digital watch faces available for COROS devices.
  • Custom Wahoo watch bands for COROS watches, slated for release in late summer.

Meet the New Standard: PACE 4 Black Crystal

To celebrate this spirit of innovation, COROS has also unveiled the PACE 4 Black Crystal, a premium upgrade to their award-winning ultralight AMOLED GPS watch. This isn’t just a new colorway; it’s a refined design featuring high-end materials like a 6000-series aluminum alloy bezel and a molecularly bonded PVD coating that resists sweat and salt.

It’s built for athletes who want their gear to reflect the high standards they bring to their training.

Key Specs to Watch For:

  • Ultra-Lightweight: Only 32–33 grams with a nylon band.
  • Stunning Display: A 1.2” 2.5D tapered edge AMOLED touchscreen.
  • Massive Battery: Up to 41 GPS hours and 19 days of daily use.
  • Advanced Materials: Translucent lugs and a silk-screened ripple design on the silicone band.

The COROS PACE 4 Black Crystal will be available starting April 21st for $279 USD at COROS.com and select retailers worldwide.
