AWOL Vision is leaning hard into the idea that the best seat in the house might actually be in the backyard. The company this week introduced a broader home entertainment lineup built around sports viewing, movie nights, gaming sessions, and what it calls the “Host Hero” crowd: the people who turn ordinary gatherings into full-scale watch parties.
The new announcements include the commercial launch of the Aetherion Pro ultra-short-throw projector, a new Valerion Max Theater Package, fresh color options for the Valerion Pro 2 projector, and a set of inflatable outdoor screens designed for portable large-format viewing.
The timing lines up neatly with a busy summer sports calendar that includes soccer, baseball, golf, tennis, and plenty of excuses to invite friends over and argue about referees with stadium-level confidence.
Aetherion Pro Turns the Living Room Into a Sports Bar
The headline product in the announcement is the Aetherion Pro, an ultra-short-throw projector designed to create very large 4K images from only inches away from a wall or projection screen.

Ultra-short-throw projectors have become increasingly popular for people who want massive screen sizes without permanently dedicating an entire room to a traditional projector setup. AWOL positions the Aetherion series as a way to turn a standard living room into something closer to a private sports lounge or home cinema.
The company says the Aetherion Pro focuses on bright image performance, high refresh rates, and low latency for both sports and gaming. That combination matters for fast-moving action, whether it’s a FIFA match, a racing game, or someone button-mashing their way through a fighting game tournament at 1 a.m. with suspicious levels of enthusiasm.
AWOL says the Aetherion Pro is available now with pricing starting at $3,499.
Valerion Max Theater Package Targets Dedicated Viewing Spaces
The new Valerion Max Theater Package takes a slightly different approach, aiming more toward dedicated theater rooms, upscale lounges, and premium backyard installations.
The system uses triple-laser projection technology and is designed around larger-format cinematic viewing. AWOL describes it as a theater-calibrated setup intended for viewers who care as much about atmosphere and image quality as the actual content playing on screen.
That could appeal to buyers building out purpose-driven media spaces rather than simply replacing a television in the family room. The package becomes available June 1 with pricing starting at $4,199.
New Color Options Add Personality to the Valerion Pro 2
Projectors rarely get described as “fashion-adjacent,” yet AWOL is giving the Valerion Pro 2 a little more personality with new red and purple color variants.

The idea is fairly straightforward: make the projector feel less like anonymous AV hardware and more like part of the room itself. AWOL suggests the colors could complement gaming setups, team colors, entertainment spaces, or outdoor lounge aesthetics.
The Valerion Pro 2 starts at $2,699.
Inflatable Outdoor Screens Aim for Easy Backyard Viewing
Outdoor movie nights continue to be one of those “this seems simple until setup begins” activities. AWOL’s new Valerion inflatable outdoor screens are designed to remove some of that friction.
The screens feature wrinkle-resistant and washable viewing surfaces and can reportedly be set up in around 10 minutes. AWOL says the sealed-air design removes the need for continuously running blower fans, which should help reduce background noise during movies, games, or sports broadcasts.
The company expects the inflatable outdoor screens to launch in July, though pricing has not yet been announced.
AWOL Pushes the “Bring Wonder Home” Message
The broader announcement ties into AWOL Vision’s “Bring Wonder Home” campaign, which focuses on the idea that more entertainment experiences are shifting back into the home.
Rather than treating projectors as niche home theater equipment, AWOL is positioning its products as social entertainment tools meant for shared experiences across living rooms, patios, dedicated media rooms, and backyard gatherings.
