Acer Expands Chromebook Plus Enterprise Lineup with Premium 714 and 514 Models

Acer is expanding its Chromebook portfolio with two new enterprise-focused models built for modern cloud-based workflows: the Acer Chromebook Plus Enterprise 714 and the Acer Chromebook Plus Enterprise 514. The new lineup combines ChromeOS security and management features with upgraded hardware, AI tools, and long battery life aimed squarely at business users.

Power and Portability for Professionals

Headlining the launch is the Acer Chromebook Plus Enterprise 714 (CBE794-1/T), a thin-and-light model built around Intel’s latest Core Ultra processors. The device is engineered for performance-heavy multitasking, with up to 20.5 hours of battery life, a 14-inch WUXGA (1920×1200) display, and a durable MIL-STD 810H-certified aluminum chassis weighing under 3 pounds.

Acer’s attention to the finer details is evident in the connectivity options: dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI, a Gigabit Ethernet jack, and a fingerprint reader for secure sign-ins. The display also offers an optional touch variant for users who prefer hands-on control during meetings, creative work, or note-taking sessions.

For businesses needing a blend of performance and practicality, the Acer Chromebook Plus Enterprise 514 (CBE594-2/T), now shipping in North America, features up to an Intel Core 7 processor, a WUXGA anti-glare display, and up to 17 hours of runtime per charge. Both models support Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 for fast, reliable connectivity.

Built-In AI and Virtual App Support

Both Chromebooks feature Google AI integration within ChromeOS, designed to streamline workflows and meetings. The OS now offers features like AI-powered call controls, intelligent background blurring, lighting adjustments, and noise cancellation. A new Quick Insert key gives one-touch access to creative tools and menus, shaving seconds off repetitive daily tasks.

Acer is also continuing its partnership with Cameyo, whose virtual app delivery platform enables secure access to both cloud-based and legacy applications, including Windows and Linux software, without compromising device security. This makes the new Enterprise models especially well-suited for hybrid organizations balancing cloud adoption with legacy software needs.

Design, Durability, and Sustainability

The Chromebook Plus Enterprise 714 and 514 are built for longevity, featuring reinforced I/O ports, impact resistance, and hinges tested for up to 20,000 open-close cycles. Each laptop carries EPEAT Gold and Energy Star certifications as part of Acer’s Earthion initiative, and both include OceanGlass touchpads made from recycled ocean-bound plastic.

From the boardroom to the backseat, these models are designed to handle everyday business demands while maintaining a polished, professional appearance.

Ready for Business from Day One

Both laptops arrive with Chrome Enterprise Upgrade unlocked, giving IT administrators access to comprehensive management controls, 24/7 support, and secure remote deployment tools. Combined with ChromeOS’s built-in malware protection and verified boot, organizations can deploy devices with minimal setup time and maximum peace of mind.

Pricing and Availability

The Acer Chromebook Plus Enterprise 714 will be available in North America in Q4 2025, starting at $1,499.99 for commercial quantities. The Acer Chromebook Plus Enterprise 514 is available now, starting at $1,099.99.

Exact configurations, pricing, and regional availability may vary.
