Xfinity Mobile Rolls Out Premium Unlimited Plan with Gigabit Speeds and Twice-Yearly Phone Upgrades

Xfinity Mobile has launched a new Premium Unlimited plan that blends high-performance features with cost savings aimed at undercutting major wireless carriers. The plan offers gigabit speeds, 4K UHD streaming, expanded hotspot access, and twice-a-year phone upgrades—all while costing roughly half as much as similar plans from Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile for customers with two lines.

According to Comcast, the plan is now available to both new and existing Xfinity Internet customers.

A Feature-Rich Unlimited Experience

The Premium Unlimited plan introduces several perks designed to make it more than just a budget alternative. Subscribers get:

  • 4K UHD Streaming: High-resolution video playback for streaming content on the go.
  • 30GB of 5G Hotspot Data: Enough to keep laptops and tablets connected outside the home.
  • Xfinity Call Guard: Enhanced spam call blocking that filters nuisance calls before they hit your phone.
  • Twice-a-Year Upgrades: Qualifying customers can trade in their devices twice a year, receiving up to $830 toward a new Apple or Samsung phone.
  • WiFi PowerBoost: With most Xfinity Mobile traffic routed through WiFi, this feature offers gig-speed performance inside and outside the home.

New Offers Sweeten the Deal

In conjunction with the new plan, Xfinity Mobile has rolled out its most aggressive offers to date:

  • Free Unlimited Line for One Year: Available to both new and existing Xfinity Internet customers.
  • Device Contract Buyout: Switchers can get up to $500 per line to help cover existing device payment obligations.
  • Free 5G Phone with Trade-In: Eligible trade-ins can net up to $830 toward a new 5G phone, including models from Apple and Samsung.

To help potential customers estimate their savings, Comcast has launched a new Savings Calculator. The tool delivers a personalized projection of annual cost reductions when switching to Xfinity Mobile.

Speeds Backed by Infrastructure

The new plan leverages Comcast’s broadband backbone and a network of over 23 million WiFi hotspots, plus what it claims is the most reliable 5G coverage. Data from Ookla’s Speedtest Intelligence shows a 150% increase in average mobile speeds since the launch of WiFi PowerBoost.

Kohposh Kuda, Senior Vice President of Xfinity Mobile, emphasized the no-compromise approach: “This new plan delivers a premium mobile experience powered by gig speeds in and out of the home – at a fraction of the cost.”
