Virtuix is expanding its reach in consumer virtual reality with the launch of Omni One for Quest, a new version of its full-body VR treadmill system designed specifically for Meta Quest headsets. Developed in collaboration with Meta, the system carries the “Made for Meta” certification and will be featured in the Meta Store, giving Quest owners a new way to move through virtual worlds using their own legs instead of a thumbstick.
Omni One is an omni-directional treadmill that lets players physically walk, jog, run, crouch, and jump in place while those movements are mirrored inside compatible VR games. The goal is to make gameplay feel more natural while adding a fitness element that traditional VR experiences often lack.
Built for the Quest Ecosystem
The new Omni One for Quest is compatible with both the Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest 3, bringing Virtuix’s hardware to one of the largest standalone VR platforms available. Rather than relying on custom software, the system works with supported Quest titles that implement native Omni One integration.

Launch titles include VAIL, Forefront, The Boys, and Star Trek: Infection, with more compatible games planned over time. Players using Omni One can still join online matches with Quest users who are playing without the treadmill, helping avoid splitting multiplayer communities into separate camps.
According to Virtuix CEO Jan Goetgeluk, the partnership with Meta marks a major milestone for the company by bringing unrestricted physical movement to millions of Quest users.
Gaming with a Workout Built In
One of Omni One’s biggest selling points has always been its blend of gaming and exercise. Instead of standing in one place or using joystick movement, players physically move through virtual environments, turning longer gaming sessions into light cardio workouts.
Virtuix says users can burn up to 700 calories per hour depending on the game and level of activity. Actual results will naturally vary, though the system clearly targets players looking for a more active alternative to traditional VR experiences. It’s one of those rare gaming accessories where “just one more match” might count toward closing the fitness ring.

The company says Omni One currently holds an average customer rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars and notes that the platform received the 2025 Auggie Award for Best VR Interaction Product.
Pricing and Availability
Omni One for Quest is available starting today through Virtuix and authorized distribution partners. Pricing starts at $2,595 USD, with regional pricing set at €2,995 in Europe and £2,795 in the United Kingdom.
To mark the launch, Virtuix is offering a limited-time Quest gaming bundle that includes four games optimized for Omni One movement: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City, Men in Black: Most Wanted, Exoshock, and Zero Caliber 2.
