ULTRALOQ has launched a new collection of smart locks designed to move home entry past the era of physical keys and app-dependent unlocking. The lineup, from parent company U-tec’s ULTRALOQ brand (one of the best-selling smart lock brands on the market), includes three models: the Bolt Mission, Bolt Pro, and Latch 5 Pro. Each takes a different approach to keyless access, and together they cover a range of use cases and price points.
The collection leans on two emerging technologies: ultra-wideband (UWB) for hands-free, intent-aware entry, and Aliro, an open mobile-access standard developed by the Connectivity Standards Alliance with backing from Apple, Google, and Samsung. Aliro brings the same tap-to-unlock experience consumers already use for contactless payments and digital car keys to the front door.
All three locks are Matter Certified and compatible with Apple Home and Google Home. The Bolt Pro and Latch 5 Pro also work with Samsung SmartThings, enabling automations like turning on lights or adjusting the thermostat when the door unlocks.
ULTRALOQ Bolt Mission: Hands-Free, No Tap Required

The Bolt Mission ($299.99) is positioned as the first UWB-enabled smart lock on the market. It combines Bluetooth Low Energy, UWB ranging, radar-based presence sensing, and local decision logic to distinguish an authorized user approaching from outside versus someone already moving around inside the home. The practical result: the door unlocks as a user walks up, phone in pocket, without any interaction required.
Intent detection is handled locally between the phone and the lock, which keeps response times fast and avoids the need for a separate hub. The Xthings Home app simply runs in the background.
ULTRALOQ Bolt Pro: Tap-to-Unlock With a Full Feature Set

The Bolt Pro ($269.99) is the collection’s premium deadbolt. It supports Aliro-Certified digital wallet access, meaning users can unlock the door with a tap of a compatible phone or smartwatch, no app required. Digital keys live directly in a compatible mobile wallet, making the experience feel familiar to anyone who already uses contactless payments.
The Bolt Pro also supports fingerprint recognition, PIN codes, app control, and a physical key backup, covering the full range of household access needs. Fingerprint works well for everyday users, while PIN codes offer a practical option for guests, kids, or service providers.
ULTRALOQ Latch 5 Pro: Wallet Access for More Than the Front Door

The Latch 5 Pro ($249.99) brings the same Aliro-Certified, tap-to-unlock experience to lever-style doors, making it a natural fit for side entrances, home offices, garage-entry doors, rentals, and shared spaces. It supports fingerprint access and PIN codes for temporary users, and carries the same Matter Certification and smart home platform compatibility as the rest of the lineup.
Availability
“The front door is moving away from keys and apps toward digital credentials and intent-aware access,” said Raj Sundar, Senior Director of Product Management for ULTRALOQ. “Our goal with this collection is to make that transition seamless and practical for customers.”
All three models are available now through ULTRALOQ’s website and Amazon, with availability through The Home Depot online coming in October. More details can be found at www.ultraloq.com.
