SCRY Launches AI-Powered Artic Coolers for PlayStation 5

SCRY has introduced its latest hardware addition for PlayStation 5 users: the Artic Coolers. These coolers are equipped with an AI-driven Thermal Chip designed to prevent overheating and maintain optimal performance during intense gaming sessions.

Key Features of the Artic Coolers

Smart Thermoregulation At the heart of the Artic Coolers is SCRY’s Smart Thermal AI chip. This system dynamically adjusts fan speeds based on the console’s temperature, reducing heat by as much as 10°C (50°F) during graphically demanding gameplay. The on-the-fly adjustments keep the system running smoothly without manual intervention.

Enhanced Airflow The Dynamic Hyperfluid Fan keeps things quiet while increasing airflow by 30% with the help of SCRY’s Lamella design. Operating at just 38 dB, the fan offers improved cooling without contributing to ambient noise, making it ideal for late-night gaming marathons.

Plug-and-Play Setup Setting up the Artic Coolers is straightforward. Users simply connect via USB, taking advantage of SuperSpeed USB 3.1 for fast and reliable performance. This design makes it easy to attach and detach the cooler as needed without complicated installations.

Additional Peripherals for Gamers In addition to the Artic Coolers, SCRY is offering two SSD solutions aimed at gaming enthusiasts and PC users:

  • Nitro Move Enclosure SSD: This compact SSD enclosure supports data transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps, featuring 100W power passthrough for seamless connectivity with gaming PCs and mobile devices.
  • Nitro Flash Heatsink SSD: Built for heavy workloads, this SSD includes an aluminum heatsink to maintain consistent performance, especially during resource-intensive gaming sessions.

Availability on Kickstarter The Artic, Artic S, Artic Pro, Nitro Flash Heatsink SSDs, and Nitro Move Enclosure SSDs are now available for preorder through SCRY’s Kickstarter campaign. Early Bird pricing starts at $39 USD (S$49 SGD), giving backers the chance to lock in these coolers at a reduced rate. More information about the campaign and SCRY’s latest developments can be found on their Kickstarter page.
