T-Mobile confirmed they would be launching the Samsung Galaxy Note, upgrading it to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor for the US version. Launch timing was “coming weeks” with no pricing announced.
T-Mobile’s Galaxy Note specs and features: a 5.3-inch HD Super AMOLED display, HSPA+ 42 data, S Pen with S Note, S Memo, and Polaris Office for productivity, SAFE (Samsung Approved for Enterprise) designation with AES256-bit encryption, Microsoft Exchange support, integrated VPN, Wi-Fi Calling, Mobile Hotspot for up to five devices, an 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and the T-Mobile 4G Pro App Pack (Dropbox, Evernote, Square, TripIt, CamScanner, LinkedIn). Samsung Media Hub and T-Mobile TV were also preloaded.
