Samsung and Best Buy Mobile announced the Nexus S would be available for AT&T customers exclusively through Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores, launching July 24th at $99.99 with a two-year activation. Pre-sales began July 21st in stores and online.
The Android 2.3-powered Nexus S featured a 4-inch Super AMOLED Contour Display, a 1GHz Samsung processor, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a VGA front-facing camera, NFC support, 16GB internal memory, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, internet calling, Google Voice, and access to more than 250,000 apps on Android Market. It offered the pure Google experience with priority access to Android updates.
