Realme finally makes a comeback of GT series smartphones with the launch of the Realme GT 6T mid-range smartphone in the GT lineup. After a gap of two years, Realme brings its GT series smartphone to the Indian market. Realme packs an impressive array of features in the GT 6T smartphone. Let’s take a look at it.
Let’s start with the hardware, the Realme GT 6T is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor with 12GB of LPPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. It’s great to see here that Realme opted for the latest RAM and storage versions.
The smartphone has a 9-layer 3D tempered dual VC cooling system that keeps the device cool under heavy usage. In terms of software, the GT 6T runs on Andorid 14 based on Realme UI 5 out of the box. Realme promises three years of major Andorid updates (up to Android 17) and four years of security patch updates for the GT 6T.
Under the hood, the smartphone houses a massive 5,500mAh battery with 120W SuperVOOC fast charging support that can charge the device up to 50% in just 10 minutes. Unlike other brands such as Nothing, Realme offers a 120W brick in the box, which is great. The smartphone can maintain over 80% battery health even after 1600 charging cycles, said Realme.
For lenses, Realme incorporates a dual rear camera setup at the rear. The 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 32MP snapper at the front captures stunning selfies and videos.
The Realme GT 6T boasts a stunning 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED LTPO display with a 1-120Hz dynamic refresh rate support and up to 6000 nits of peak brightness. It has corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on top, protecting the device from accidental falls and scratches.
The Realme GT 6T starts at INR 30,999 (~$370) and comes in two beautiful color options – Razor Green and Fluid Silver.
