NACON’s RIG audio brand has launched the R5 SPEAR PRO HS, a new gaming headset officially licensed for PS4 and PS5 consoles. It emphasizes “studio-grade” audio fidelity for competitive gamers, featuring 40mm graphene drivers that offer ultra-clear sound and precise in-game threat localization by minimizing distortion.
The headset also includes a proprietary SNAP+LOCK mod system for customizable ear-cups and cushions, along with a clear 6mm precision boom mic for team communication.

The R5 SPEAR Series launch is meant to emphasize the brand’s focus on providing excellent audio for gamers. The R5 PRO HS is specifically designed for PlayStation 5 consoles, offering high-quality audio to enhance gaming performance. It features advanced audio technology and a new SNAP+LOCK mod system, making it a standout wired gaming headset.
The headset is custom-tuned for first-person shooter games, utilizing 40mm graphene drivers. These drivers are lightweight and strong with a graphene coating, which reduces audio distortion and delivers clear sound. This design allows gamers to accurately identify in-game threats. The R5 PRO HS boasts less than 0.5% total harmonic distortion and a wide frequency range, making it ideal for serious gamers wanting high-quality sound.

The SNAP+LOCK mod system allows users to customize their headsets with interchangeable earcup ‘Mod-Plates’ and cushions. Future accessories, including limited-edition designs, are also planned.
