Motorola announced the Pro+, the sequel to the Pro, set to hit shelves in Europe and Asia in October. It featured a 1GHz processor, a BlackBerry-style portrait QWERTY keyboard, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
Key specs included a 3.1-inch VGA display (640×480) with Corning Gorilla Glass, a 1600mAh battery with up to 8 hours talk time, Dual-band WCDMA with HSDPA 14.4Mbps, 3G Mobile Hotspot for up to five devices, aGPS, accelerometer, and FM radio. The phone measured 62 x 119.5 x 11.65mm and weighed 113g.
