Meet SnapSeries: ShiftCam’s Magnetic Magic for On-the-Go Content Creators

ShiftCam, a well-regarded name in the world of mobile photography and videography accessories, has announced the launch of its latest innovation, the SnapSeries, on Indiegogo. This line of creative tools is designed for mobile content creators and professional vloggers, expanding on ShiftCam’s existing SnapGrip products.

A New Take on Content Creation

The SnapSeries is powered by MagSafe technology, allowing users to quickly set up their equipment so they can focus more on capturing content rather than fiddling with gadgets. This line is designed to be compact and versatile, perfect for creators who are always on the move and keen on experimenting with new styles and techniques.

Features of the SnapSeries

At the heart of the SnapSeries is the SnapGrip Pro, which boasts Qi2 magnetic wireless charging, delivering 15 watts of power to iPhones. This feature provides three times faster charging and offers up to 58% more battery life than its predecessor, the SnapGrip Classic. The SnapGrip Pro is user-friendly, with a comfortable grip, a USB-C PD 20W output, and a Bluetooth shutter button for quick snapshots. It is available in two colors: Stone and Midnight.

Complementing the SnapGrip Pro is the newly designed SnapStudio Light. This compact ring light is 38% smaller than conventional ones and allows users to adjust temperature and brightness with built-in control buttons. With an output of 440 lumens—or 600 lumens when powered via USB-C—it ensures optimal lighting conditions for any scene. The SnapStudio Light comes in Stone and Midnight, matching the SnapGrip Pro. There is also the SnapPocket Light, perfect for those moments requiring just a touch more illumination.

Versatile Stands and Accessories

The SnapSeries includes three distinct stands to enhance content capture versatility:

  • SnapStand Mini: A portable 8-inch (20 cm) stand that offers multiple shooting angles.
  • SnapStand Selfie: Extending from 10 inches to 2.5 feet (25-78 cm), this stand is perfect for capturing first-person content on the go.
  • SnapStand Max: With an adjustable height ranging from 1.5 feet to 6 feet (45-180 cm), it features a foldable head and strong magnetic snap for stability.

The SnapSeries ecosystem includes nine interchangeable components, including a SnapShoe accessories mount and the Snap SSD, enabling creators to customize their setup according to their specific needs. It’s designed to be the only gear required for producing high-quality content across personal, social, or professional platforms.

Broad Compatibility and Campaign Details

The SnapSeries is compatible with all smartphones, including the latest iPhone 15 series and Samsung Galaxy S23 series. Each package includes a magnetic sticker for devices that lack MagSafe functionality.

This Indiegogo campaign marks ShiftCam’s ninth crowdfunding venture. It follows the success of the 2022 SnapGrip campaign, which raised nearly $850,000. Since then, ShiftCam has sold over 250,000 units globally, highlighting the high demand for innovative mobile photography and video accessories.
