Marshall has expanded its Jimi Hendrix 60th Anniversary Collection with three limited-edition products spanning personal audio, portable speakers, and guitar amplification. The new lineup includes special versions of the Major V headphones, Emberton III speaker, and a JMH Studio amplifier based on Marshall’s Studio Vintage design.
The collection marks 60 years since Hendrix first plugged into a Marshall amplifier, continuing a relationship that became closely tied to his sound and stage presence. This latest release is the final entry in Marshall’s Hendrix anniversary series.
Major V Gets A Psychedelic Hendrix Makeover
The Hendrix 60th Anniversary Edition Major V takes Marshall’s foldable on-ear headphones and gives them a black-and-purple treatment inspired by Hendrix imagery.

A purple oil-on-water pattern runs across the inner headband and ear cups, joined by an all-seeing eye motif. Marshall says the Major V can provide multiple days of listening from a single charge, making it a considerably more practical way to spend a Hendrix marathon than standing beside a wall of guitar cabinets.
The Hendrix Major V is available now through Marshall for $179.99. Select retailers will begin carrying it on September 9.
Emberton III Adds A One-Of-A-Kind Finish

Marshall has applied the same visual theme to its Emberton III portable Bluetooth speaker. The speaker features the purple pattern across its silicone sleeve and grille, with a silver all-seeing eye on the media control and purple LEDs. Each silicone sleeve is hand-dipped using a water-transfer printing process, meaning the pattern varies slightly from one unit to another.
Marshall rates the Emberton III for more than a full day of listening per charge. The Hendrix edition is available now for $159.99, with wider retail availability beginning September 9.
JMH Studio Brings The Tribute Back To The Amp
The most elaborate piece in the collection is the Hendrix 60th Anniversary JMH Studio, a handcrafted amplifier made at Marshall’s factory in Bletchley, UK.

Based on the Studio Vintage amp, the JMH Studio uses a plywood cabinet wrapped in black Tolex. Black and purple psychedelic graphics cover the fret and control panel, paired with a purple LED indicator.
Marshall has woven silver detailing into the knobs, handle, logo, grille, and rear panel, drawing from the silver jewelry associated with Hendrix’s personal style. All-seeing eye badges appear on the top and bottom of the stack.
Marshall describes the amp as capable of moving from clean and blues-oriented tones into richer, heavily amplified sounds suitable for performance or studio recording.
The JMH Studio will be available beginning September 9 through Marshall and select retailers for $2,499.99.
Closing Out Marshall’s Hendrix Anniversary Collection
The three products complete Marshall’s Hendrix 60th Anniversary Collection, which draws heavily from the musician’s use of color, cosmic imagery, and themes of expanded vision.
Marshall has paired the release with an interview featuring American blues-rock artist Ally Venable at the Granada Theatre in Dallas, where she discusses the influence of Hendrix and Marshall on her music.
