Pokémon GO is heading into fall with a new Season called Twilight Trails, running from September 8 at 10:00 a.m. through December 1, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time. The three-month Season will introduce new Pokémon from the Paldea region, fresh Mega Evolutions, additional Dynamax Pokémon, Community Days, GO Pass rewards, and updated Egg pools.
More Paldea Pokémon Join Pokémon GO
Twilight Trails will continue expanding Pokémon GO’s Paldea roster with Maschiff and Mabosstiff among the confirmed arrivals. Both originally appeared in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet for Nintendo Switch.
Niantic has indicated that more Paldea-region Pokémon are coming during the Season, though the supplied material does not identify the full lineup.
Mega Evolution will get another round of additions following Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Mega Finale. Mega Staraptor and Mega Chandelure are confirmed to make their Pokémon GO debuts, with more Mega-Evolved Pokémon planned for Twilight Trails. Further details are expected around the Mega Squads event and September Community Day Classic.
Dynamax Battles Continue Expanding
Max Battles will receive several new participants during the Season, including Dynamax Rhyhorn, Dynamax Sneasel, and Dynamax Sizzlipede.
Twilight Trails will feature a Max Battle Day starring Dynamax Uxie, Dynamax Mesprit, and Dynamax Azelf. That gives Trainers another reason to keep an eye on Power Spots during the next few months, particularly those building out teams for Dynamax content.
Community Day Dates And GO Pass Bonuses
Three Community Day events are scheduled during Twilight Trails. September Community Day Classic takes place September 12, followed by October Community Day on October 10 and November Community Day on November 21.
The GO Pass progression system will return for the Season. Trainers can complete Pass Tasks to earn GO Points, increase their rank, and collect rewards. A paid GO Pass Deluxe will provide upgraded rewards and faster progression.
Major Milestone bonuses include extra trading Candy, expanded Gift limits, double Daily Adventure Incense duration, and increased XP and Stardust from hatching Eggs. Some bonuses unlock only after reaching specific GO Pass ranks.
Egg Pools Get A Seasonal Refresh
Twilight Trails will rotate the Pokémon available from several Egg types. The confirmed 2 km pool includes Elekid, Magby, and Azurill, with Munchlax, Sizzlipede, and Fidough appearing in 5 km Eggs. Galarian Meowth, Galarian Zigzagoon, and Galarian Stunfisk are listed for 7 km Eggs, while Dratini, Honedge, and Impidimp are among the 10 km options.
Adventure Sync Eggs have their own pools, including Tyrogue, Sableye, and Budew from 5 km Eggs, plus Bagon, Druddigon, and Drampa from 10 km Eggs.
Mateo’s Gift Exchange can provide 7 km Eggs containing Pokémon such as Galarian Slowpoke, Hisuian Sneasel, and Galarian Corsola. Many of the listed Pokémon can appear as Shiny encounters.
With new Paldea arrivals, Mega Evolutions, Dynamax additions, and three months of seasonal rotations, Twilight Trails gives Pokémon GO players plenty to chase when September rolls in next week.
