Hisense, a global leader in consumer electronics, showcased the industry’s first RGBY MicroLED Display at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026. The innovative display, named the 163MX, was recognized as a ‘Best of Innovation’ at the CES Innovation Awards®.
The 163MX pioneers a new era of color expression and warmth in display technology with its four-primary color system. This groundbreaking technology adds a yellow sub-pixel to the traditional RGB structure, filling the spectral gap between 500 – 600 nm, which is often muted by conventional MicroLED displays.
This major advancement in color management allows the 163MX to achieve up to 100% of the BT.2020 color space, setting a new standard for spectral range and accuracy in true MicroLED technology. Beyond color performance, the 163MX features a refined, minimalist design and an ultra-slim 32mm profile, making it an ideal addition to premium environments.
As a CES 2026 Best of Innovation Award winner, the 163MX solidifies Hisense’s position as a leader in next-generation color technology. The company’s commitment to advancing display technology through meaningful innovation is evident in their continuous push for richer, more expressive, and more accessible visual experiences.
