Coway has introduced the Airmega Mighty2 Mini, a compact version of its best-selling Mighty air purifier lineup. The new model is 40% smaller than the standard Mighty2 while retaining the brand’s three-stage filtration system, making it a practical option for bedrooms, nurseries, playrooms, and home offices.
The Mighty2 Mini can clean spaces up to 1,043 square feet in one hour at one air change per hour, positioning it as a more space-saving alternative to the larger Mighty2.
Three-Stage Filtration
The Airmega Mighty2 Mini uses a washable pre-filter, a deodorization carbon filter, and a HEPA filter. The pre-filter captures dust, pet hair, and other larger particles, while the carbon filter helps reduce household odors.
Its HEPA filter is tested to IEST standards and captures 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, including dust, pollen, and pet dander. Coway rates the carbon filter for up to six months of use and the HEPA filter for up to one year.
Quiet Operation for Sleep Spaces
The Mighty2 Mini operates as quietly as 19.2 dB(A) and carries Quiet Mark certification, making it especially suitable for bedrooms and nurseries. Its noise range extends to 49 dB(A) at higher settings.
In Smart Mode, the Night Sensor detects when a room has been dark for three minutes and automatically switches the purifier to Sleep Mode. Adjustable display lights and a control-panel mute option further reduce nighttime disruptions.
Air Quality Monitoring and Controls
A built-in particle sensor monitors PM2.5 levels in real time, detecting fine dust, allergens, fumes, and wildfire smoke. A four-color LED air-quality indicator gives users a quick visual read on current conditions.
The purifier includes Smart, Turbo, Sleep, and Eco modes, allowing users to balance air cleaning, noise, and energy use. It also offers one-, four-, and eight-hour timer settings, a button lock, light controls, and a mute function.
Microplastic Removal
Coway says the Mighty2 Mini removed 99.9 percent of airborne microplastics in testing conducted by independent laboratory KOTITI. Microplastics can shed from common household items such as stuffed animals, carpets, and curtains.
Price, Colors, and Availability
The Airmega Mighty2 Mini is available in White, Beige, and a new Muddy Green colorway. It costs $169.99.
Replacement Fresh Starter filters are also available through Coway online store and Amazon. The filters are designed for easy installation and last approximately six months.
