BOOX Go 10.3 (Gen II) E Ink Tablets Target Digital Nomads

BOOX, a prominent innovator in the E Ink hardware sector, has officially launched its Go 10.3 (Gen II) Series. This latest lineup introduces two high-performance 10.3-inch ePaper tablets—the Go 10.3 (Gen II) and the Go 10.3 (Gen II) Lumi—specifically engineered to provide a focused, distraction-free environment for professional reading, creative brainstorming, and note-taking.

The series emphasizes a less is more philosophy, stripping away the digital noise of traditional tablets while upgrading the core hardware to meet the demands of modern digital nomads.

Versatile Lighting for Every Environment

The Gen II series offers two distinct approaches to visual clarity. The standard Go 10.3 (Gen II) is designed without a front light layer, reducing the distance between the E Ink film and the surface to provide a tactile, ink-on-paper experience that excels in bright, natural light.

In contrast, the Go 10.3 (Gen II) Lumi features an integrated, adjustable dual-tone front lighting system. This allows users to toggle between cool white tones for daytime focus and warm amber hues for comfortable evening use, ensuring productivity in any lighting condition.

Ultra-Slim Engineering

Despite their expansive screen real estate, both models maintain a remarkably thin profile. The standard model measures a mere 4.6 mm, while the Lumi version remains sleek at 4.8 mm. Within this slim chassis, BOOX has integrated a robust 3,700 mAh battery, capable of powering the device for several weeks on a single charge under typical usage conditions.

Go 10.3 (Gen II): An Anti-Burnout Tool

“With the Go 10.3 (Gen II) Series, our goal was to bridge the gap between paper-like simplicity and modern digital efficiency,” said Matt Semmelhack, CEO of BOOX.

“We recognize that today’s professionals are facing unprecedented digital burnout. These tablets are designed to be an ‘anti-burnout’ tool—giving users the freedom to work from a park bench or a dimly lit studio without the eye strain or distractions of a standard liquid-crystal display.”

Advanced Software and Connectivity

The series runs on Android 15, granting users full access to the Google Play Store while maintaining an interface optimized for E Ink refresh rates. The pre-installed NeoReader app supports 26 different file formats, allowing for seamless annotation and document management.

For creators, the included InkSense Plus stylus provides 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity and tilt recognition. Paired with digital organization tools like Lasso, Tags, and Outlines, the Go 10.3 (Gen II) series transforms handwritten sketches into organized, searchable digital assets.
