Bluesound Cranks Up the Volume with New NODE Streamers: Small, Medium, and ICONic

Bluesound has rolled out a trio of fresh NODE streamers: the NODE NANO, NODE, and NODE ICON. With something for everyone, these new models offer high-quality audio streaming in varying levels of sophistication—think of them as the Goldilocks options for music lovers. Whether you’re just dipping your toes into hi-res music or already chasing that perfect sound, there’s something here to fit the bill.

NODE NANO

The NODE NANO takes a minimalist approach, focusing on delivering essential features to give your current HiFi setup a streaming boost. It’s compact and simple to set up—ideal for anyone who’s ever tangled with cables for hours and thought, “There has to be an easier way.”

NODE

Then there’s the NODE, which has received a shiny upgrade, including a new ESS SABRE DAC. This revamped model is perfect for those who want more detail and clarity without getting lost in the weeds of endless settings. It’s got support for DSD playback and a THX AAA headphone amplifier—perfect for those who like their music like their coffee: strong, clean, and with no distortion.

Finally, Bluesound’s flagship NODE ICON steps in for the audio connoisseurs who demand the very best. This one comes decked out with dual ESS SABRE DACs, a sleek aluminum chassis, and a 5-inch full-color display that’s hard to miss. The NODE ICON isn’t just about the looks—it’s packing balanced XLR outputs and a low-noise power supply, meaning your music will sound crisp, clear, and unbothered by any digital hiccups.

All three NODE models play nicely with existing setups and popular streaming services. Apple AirPlay 2, aptX Adaptive Bluetooth, and BluOS multi-room technology are baked in. For the NODE and NODE ICON, you can even get fancy with Dirac Live Room Correction if you’re into optimizing your sound based on your room acoustics.

Pricing and Availability:

  • NODE NANO – Ready for purchase at $299 USD ($399 CAD)
  • NODE – Pre-orders open at $549 USD ($749 CAD), with shipping beginning on September 24, 2024
  • NODE ICON – Pre-orders start at $999 USD ($1399 CAD), shipping kicks off on November 15, 2024
