AT&T announced the LG Nitro HD for December 4th at $249.99 with a two-year commitment. AT&T’s third 4G LTE smartphone, it was the first in their lineup with a true HD display.
Key specs: Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, a 4.5-inch True HD AH-IPS display (1280×720, 500 nit luminance, RGB stripe pixels), a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 4G LTE with HSPA+ fallback, an 8-megapixel HD rear camera, 20GB total storage (4GB onboard plus a 16GB microSD), Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, and a slim 5.27 x 2.67 x 0.41-inch profile. The 1280×720 display offered wide viewing angles and clear visibility in direct sunlight.
