Soundcore Rave 3s Speaker Review

Soundcore Rave 3s Speaker Review

Soundcore has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality audio products under Anker’s umbrella. While the brand is best known for its earbuds and headphones, it also offers larger speakers designed for parties and group entertainment. The Rave 3s is one such device, blending powerful audio, AI-enhanced karaoke features, and a portable design into a compelling package.

I’ve been putting the Rave 3s through its paces to see if it lives up to the hype. Spoiler alert: It’s more than just a Bluetooth speaker—it’s an all-in-one entertainment system.

The Soundcore Rave 3s isn’t just a speaker, it’s a full-fledged entertainment system, delivering booming sound, AI-powered karaoke, and even a built-in guitar amp. this powerhouse keeps the music going for up to 12 hours—no outlets required.

Design

The Soundcore Rave 3s resembles a compact concert speaker, which fits its party-centric purpose. The large system is built for gatherings, featuring a single woofer and three additional speakers behind the front grille. Surrounding the speaker array is a dynamic LED lighting system, with smaller LEDs forming a hexagonal pattern around the top speakers and a larger array circling the woofer. It’s a fun touch that adds energy to any event.

A sturdy handle at the top makes it easier to move, though its size means you won’t be casually carrying it around town. However, for house parties, outdoor gatherings, or venue setups, the handle makes positioning it much more convenient.

Sound and Controls

The Rave 3s delivers serious volume, easily filling a 1,000-square-foot space. Whether indoors or outside, it produces clear, punchy bass and well-balanced mids and highs. It can shake the walls in a smaller room, yet maintains clarity even in open-air environments.

Physical controls on the top panel include pairing, track navigation, and play/pause buttons, along with dedicated knobs for volume and reverb. A standout feature is the Karaoke Mode button, which activates AI Vocal Removal for instant backing track creation.

The speaker also supports Auracast, allowing it to sync with other compatible Soundcore speakers. This is great for expanding the soundstage across a larger venue, creating a “main stage” effect with smaller units filling out the space.

For fine-tuned audio adjustments, the Soundcore app offers an equalizer to customize sound profiles. The app also controls the LED lighting effects and unlocks the speaker’s AI-enhanced karaoke capabilities.

Karaoke-Ready with AI-Assisted Features

The Rave 3s is designed to elevate karaoke nights. Through the Soundcore app, an AI-assisted feature removes vocals from any track in real time, letting you create a personalized karaoke playlist without needing third-party software. As you sing, the system fades out the original vocals, then brings them back when you stop. It’s seamless and highly effective.

Two wireless microphones come included, making it easy to jump into a duet or host a full karaoke session. Additional software features like Vocal Enhancer and Reverb help fine-tune vocals for a more polished sound.

For musicians, there’s even a guitar input on the back, transforming the Rave 3s into an amp for impromptu jam sessions before switching gears to karaoke mode.

Battery Life

The Rave 3s isn’t just powerful—it’s also portable. A built-in battery provides up to 12 hours of wireless playback, making it perfect for outdoor gatherings or events without easy access to power outlets.

Charging is handled via USB-C, a thoughtful addition that aligns with Anker’s reputation for convenience. While the included 110V adapter provides the fastest charging, having the flexibility of USB-C is great for situations where a high-voltage outlet isn’t available.

Final Thoughts

Awarded to products with an average rating of 3.75 stars or higher, the AndroidGuys Smart Pick recognizes a balance of quality, performance, and value.

Products with this distinction deserve to be on your short list of purchase candidates.

I didn’t have a real perception of what the Soundcore Rave 3 was bringing to the table until I spent time with this speaker system. I call it a system because just calling it a Bluetooth speaker isn’t doing it justice. From the booming performance to the AI vocal removal to the guitar amp jack, this thing just keeps surprising you with versatility.

Add in that it’s only $350, and you’ve got the perfect setup for your traveling entertainment gear or your next party situation.
