Anker Merges All of its Prowess into a Single Device with the Soundcore Nebula X1 Pro Projector

0

Get ready to party anywhere, because Anker has officially unveiled the Soundcore Nebula X1 Pro! This isn’t just a portable projector; it’s a mobile entertainment system on wheels, literally. Anker took its excellent Nebula X1 4K laser projector and fused it with a full-blown party speaker, creating a gadget that’s ready for movie night, karaoke night, or just about any night.

The star of the show is its high-tech, cinema-grade setup. The X1 Pro projects a stunningly bright 4K image up to 300 inches wide, so you can turn any blank wall into a personal movie screen. But what really sets it apart is the sound. It’s the first portable projector to support 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos surround sound, which is a fancy way of saying the audio will be coming at you from every direction—including above!

It has a powerful, “floating” subwoofer to prevent vibrations from messing up your movie, and two foldable soundbars and two wireless satellite speakers to create a truly immersive experience. With a retractable handle and wheels, this 72-pound beast is surprisingly easy to transport. It’s even got an IP43 rating, so a little bit of rain and dust won’t crash your party.

Coming to Kickstarter in September 2025 and retail in March 2026, with an expected price between $4,000 and $5,000, this ultimate portable theater is about to change how you do movie night forever.

Why Your Android Can Replace Multiple Devices Today

0

In the 21st Century, many of us live busier lives than ever, and this means having accounts on many different platforms and leveraging different tools. Think of what it takes to get ready in the morning and begin your day. From checking the time to communicating with friends and work colleagues, fitness, food, transportation, weather, and much more.

A person holding a gold-colored Android smartphone, with the device's back facing the camera.

Typically, this would mean relying on so many different tools and devices simply to survive the day. But as an Android user, you’re in luck because your device can seamlessly replace multiple tools and make your life easier. Here are some of the ways it does this:

Gaming

Whether as a way to earn extra income or simply to blow off steam, many of us enjoy games of different types. These include casino games, puzzle games, combat games, and so on. But rather than needing an entire gaming setup or multiple consoles to do so, you can play your favorite games from the comfort of your Android phone. This is thanks to the myriad of apps that support every type of game imaginable.

If you’re a fan of casino games, for example, you can use one of the many online casino apps. Not only can you play games from these apps, but you can also connect to your chosen payment methods, so there is no need for complicated payment processes. If you use Cash App, for example, you’ll find that many more Android gambling apps support this (Source: https://www.cardplayer.com/online-casinos/cash-app-casinos ). The same applies to puzzle games, combat games, and every other title you can think of. Whether you are using the official app of a particular gaming company or one of the Independent options in the App Store, there’s something for you.

Steps And Fitness

Many of us are trying to be healthy and this means improving our fitness and activity level. But before you rush out to buy multiple wearable devices, consider the suite of tools already built into your Android. Your phone can already track your steps and generate reports based on each week, month, and so on. Simply by using the Health app, you can see the state of your activity levels and make changes based on this. The app allows you to set daily goals, can send you reminders when you’re falling off track or getting closer to your goal, and so on.

You can also check out the App Store, where you’ll see additional step-counting apps as well as platforms that allow you to join walking groups, complete challenges, and overall become more active. No need for endless wearable devices when your Android can already do so much.

Sleep, Screen Time, And More.

If you’re like millions of people around the world, you are looking to improve your sleep, reduce screen time, and eat better. The good news is that your Android phone can do all of these for you. The Health app already takes note of the times you go to bed and can offer support for improving your sleep pattern. This includes reminders to sleep on time, powerful alarms that will get you up at the correct time, and much more. If you want to cut down your screen time, you can always navigate to the settings page and set screen time limits. These can be for individual apps or for your phone altogether.

Then there’s the matter of nutrition, which can be addressed in many different ways. You can use food trackers like MyFitnessPal, and even AI-powered apps that will analyze your meals through photographs. Recipe apps can give you inspiration for healthy meals to prepare throughout the week and these can have you well on your way to a healthier lifestyle.

Cameras

Android devices are renowned for the powerful camera capabilities that rival some of the best in the world. Rather than having a separate camera or device to take your pictures and document your life, you can simply rely on your Android phone. Not only can powerful Android cameras capture pictures with ease, but the built-in editing software can bring them to life. If you’d like to go a step further, visit the app store and look at the hordes of photo editing apps at your disposal. You can put various filters, edit effects, and even use specialized apps to create a vintage feel to them.

Whether you’re documenting your life for your own enjoyment or creating content for a living, your Android phone can be your most valuable companion as you capture images.

Personal Assistants

One of the beauties of technology is that we can operate our lives from one single device and not have to clutter our homes with them. By downloading apps for digital assistants, you can do everything from updating your shopping lists to managing your playlists. Whether your concern is your home security or entertainment, always keep in mind that your Android device is essentially a personal assistant in your pocket.

Your Android, naturally, is also a storage space for all of your music. Gone are the days when you needed multiple music players and endless physical music media. Instead, you can keep virtually millions of songs on a single device and access them whenever you need. From making playlists for parties to simply creating a soundtrack for your day-to-day life, your Android device comes in handy.

Anker Conquers Your Stairs with eufy Marswalker

0

Tired of carrying your robot vacuum up and down the stairs? Fear not, for eufy has announced the “Marswalker,” a robot that’s basically a personal elevator for your cleaning bot! This little hero, which looks like a tiny tank with extendable arms, is designed to climb stairs and transport your Eufy RoboVac Omni S2 from one floor to the next.

That’s right, the Marswalker’s sole purpose in life is to take your vacuum on a trip. It doesn’t vacuum or mop itself; it’s just the world’s first stair-climbing platform for a cleaning robot. It even communicates with the vacuum to know when the job is done on one floor before gracefully carrying it to the next.

Finally, a robot for your robot! The future is now, and it smells like a clean floor. I love innovation in home tech right now, and eufy might be at the forefront. A robot that takes your vacuum up the stairs seems like a fantastic glimpse into the future.

The Marswalker is set to launch in the Spring of 2026. While its price is still a mystery, the RoboVac Omni S2 it’s built to serve will cost a cool $1,599. The vacuum also has a “world’s first” feature: built-in aromatherapy scent support, so your house can smell as clean as it looks.

Baseus Launches Inspire Series with Sound by Bose, Plus New Charging and Security Devices

0

Baseus is turning up the volume on affordable premium audio with the launch of its Inspire series, a new flagship lineup developed in collaboration with Bose. Announced ahead of IFA 2025, the collection aims to bring high-end sound quality to a broader audience, without draining wallets in the process.

Inspire XH1: Flagship Noise-Cancelling Headphones

Leading the charge is the Inspire XH1, over-ear headphones that combine Bose’s tuning expertise with Dolby Audio, Hi-Res Audio certification, and LDAC support. A four-layer active noise cancellation system blocks up to -48dB of sound, while SoundFit technology personalizes playback based on the listener’s hearing profile.

The headset’s five-microphone array and AI-powered noise reduction sharpen call quality, even in loud environments. With up to 100 hours of playback and a quick-charge mode delivering 12 extra hours in just 10 minutes, the XH1 is built for marathon listening. Comfort hasn’t been ignored, either as the plush protein leather earcups and padded headband are designed for long sessions. Color options include Cosmic Black, Starlight Off-White, and limited-edition Sunset Coral and Twilight Blue.

Inspire XC1: Open-Ear Everyday Audio

For those who prefer to keep an ear on the outside world, the Inspire XC1 earbuds use an open-ear clip-on design. Each bud weighs just 6g but packs a hybrid two-way driver setup: a dynamic woofer for bass and a Knowles balanced armature tweeter for treble. The result is Hi-Res Wireless Audio with LDAC support in a lightweight form factor.

The earbuds feature “zero-sense” silicone cushioning for comfort, multipoint Bluetooth 6.1 connectivity, and IP66 water resistance for workouts or outdoor use. Calls are handled by a four-mic AI ENC system, while the battery lasts up to 8 hours per charge (40 with the case). A 10-minute top-up adds 2.5 hours of playback.

Inspire XP1: Flagship In-Ear Earbuds

The Inspire XP1 brings Bose tuning and Dolby Audio into a true wireless in-ear format. Adaptive noise cancellation reaches up to -50dB, adjusting to the environment. Dual-layer diaphragms handle both clarity and bass, while SuperBass 3.0 and SuperBalance 3.0 adapt sound for music, movies, and more.

A contoured ergonomic fit and liquid silicone tips improve comfort and isolation. Six microphones plus AI algorithms manage wind and background noise during calls. The XP1 delivers up to 8 hours per charge (ANC off) and 45 hours with the case, with a 10-minute charge adding 2.5 hours of use.

Security and Charging Line Expansions

Beyond audio, Baseus introduced the Security X1 Pro, a dual-camera AI security system with 3K video and 300° tracking. Equipped with a solar panel featuring an auto-tracking mount, the camera is designed for always-on, subscription-free operation. It will debut on Kickstarter this October.

Baseus also announced the PicoGo II charging lineup. Compact wall chargers include the PicoGo AE11 (67W) and AE21 (100W with digital display), both capable of powering laptops. Magnetic power banks and wireless chargers add support for the new Qi 2.2 standard, enabling 25W wireless charging for compatible devices.

JisuLife Debuts Ultra2 Handheld Fan at IFA 2025, Marking Bold Expansion into European Market

0

At this year’s Berlin International Consumer Electronics Exhibition (IFA), portable fan innovator JisuLife made a strong impression by unveiling its next-generation flagship device — the Handheld Fan Ultra2 — alongside the upgraded Pro1S 2025. As extreme heatwaves become increasingly common across Europe, JisuLife is stepping in with high-performance, tech-forward cooling solutions designed to meet the growing demand for smarter portable comfort.

Leading the brand’s showcase is the Ultra2, a multifunctional device built for both rugged outdoor use and everyday city life. It’s more than just a fan — it combines a mini air pump, emergency SOS light, power bank, and adjustable LED lighting into a sleek, handheld form. Powered by a 9,000mAh battery, the Ultra2 offers up to 25 hours of continuous use, making it the ideal companion for travel, festivals, commutes, or even emergency situations.

A standout feature is JisuLife’s Air Turbo 2.0 Supercharged Air Guidance System, which optimizes airflow using a newly designed blade and motor algorithm. This innovation allows the Ultra2 to hit wind speeds up to 17 m/s across 100 adjustable levels, while maintaining quiet operation and energy efficiency. The fan also includes smart features like 18W fast charging, a digital display, detachable rear net, anti-hair clamp design, and a safety lock — making it safe and convenient for all users.

The Pro1S 2025, also on display, offers similar performance in a more compact form, catering to users who prefer lighter, travel-friendly options.

“We are thrilled to connect with European consumers at IFA,” said Leo Chen, CMO of JisuLife. “With the Ultra2, we’re offering a premium product that meets the evolving needs of modern lifestyles across Europe.” Both the Ultra2 ($89.99) and Pro1S 2025 ($79.99) are now available on Amazon.

Homey Adds Dynamic Electricity Prices to Energy Management Platform

0

Homey is giving smart homes a new layer of intelligence with the launch of Dynamic Electricity Prices in Homey Energy. The update allows users to automate appliances around real-time energy rates, potentially saving money by shifting usage to off-peak hours and avoiding cost spikes. From electric heaters to washing machines and EV chargers, devices can now be set to run at the most budget-friendly times.

“Smart home automation should react not just to time or presence, but to actual energy market conditions,” said Stefan Witkamp, CEO at Athom, the company behind Homey. “This new feature gives users the tools to align their energy consumption with live pricing, saving money and using energy more intelligently.”

Real-Time Pricing and Smarter Control

The system integrates pricing data from European power exchanges, letting users view the live cost per kilowatt-hour inside Homey Energy. For those who like to fine-tune, options include adding surcharges, VAT, or even defining custom cost formulas. Automations can then be triggered by these live prices, making it easy to schedule a washing machine during cheaper hours or pause electric heating when rates spike.

New Flow cards, Homey’s intuitive automation blocks, make setup straightforward. And for quick visibility, real-time rates appear in iOS and Android widgets, as well as on Homey Dashboards.

Availability and Supported Markets

Dynamic Electricity Prices is now available on Homey Pro (Early 2023), Homey Pro mini, and Homey Cloud. The feature comes included with Homey Pro on firmware v12.6.0 or later and app version 9.5.0 or later, while Homey Cloud users will need a Premium subscription.

Currently, the feature supports countries with dynamic energy pricing contracts, including Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden. Homey notes that while it enables automation, customers will need to obtain a compatible energy contract through their local supplier.

Homey, Athom, and LG

Athom, founded in the Netherlands in 2014 and now part of LG Electronics, has steadily grown Homey into one of the leading smart home ecosystems. Its flagship Homey Pro supports major protocols such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Matter, and Thread, and offers more than 1,000 integrations via the Homey App Store.

More details on Dynamic Electricity Prices and Homey’s broader platform can be found at homey.app.
