Cell phones are great, but (for the most part) without a case, well, thats how people ruin them. Otter Box has come up with a great case that provides great protection, a solid feel, and keeps your phone looking nice and sleek.

Featuring a 4.3-inch HD (540×960 resolution) Super LCD touch screen, 768MB RAM, 4GB storage, an 8-megapixel camera (1080p HD video), and HDMI and DLNA output, the Sensation 4G will easily rank among T-Mobile’s best Android smart phones when it arrives this summer.
Andy Rubin Clears the Air About Android Rumors

Android head Andy Rubin took to the Android Developers Blog to clear the air about rumors that have been circulating recently: that Google is imposing new rules to reduce fragmentation, and that they are holding back release of Honeycomb source code in a way that betrays open source commitments. By referencing Gene Amdahl in the post’s title, Rubin labels both assertions as FUD: a campaign of fear, uncertainty and doubt. (Amdahl coined the phrase in the mid-1970s.)
Regarding new rules to reduce fragmentation:
Motorola XOOM Review
I purposely put off writing my review of the Motorola XOOM for a couple of reasons. Â Partially because we already have a perspective from another AndroidGuys writer, but also because I wanted to give it a thorough assessment of how I use the device in my daily life. Â After spending a little over one month with the XOOM I have grown to really like the device, almost love it. Â I’ll break this review into two segments (hardware, software) and give you my real-world view of the tablet and leave the hardcore benchmarks and head-to-head stuff for other people to cover. Â My reviews are meant for the Average Joe types, not those looking for a complete walkthrough of every internal component.

U.S. Cellular’s Android roster grows by one tomorrow as they roll out the Samsung Gem. T-Mobile Sidekick Pricing Announced: $99.99 With A 2-Year Contract

All you former Teeny Boppers who set text messaging records on your old SideKicks can rejoice. T-Mo has finally announced the pricing for it’s new Android powered SideKick successor. T-Mobile’s Sidekick 4G is priced at $99.99 with a 2-year contract after a $50 mail-in-rebate. With a reasonable price like that, it is sure to be a hit with the teen crowd that the handset is aimed at. Engadget got their hands on one, and gave it some pretty fair reviews. They did mention that there was some deep skinning on the phone, which of course means it is not a “vanilla” Android experience, but it was not expected to be. The unit runs Android 2.2 out of the box, which is nice and has a full 5-row keypad which is also a refreshing addition. It will be interesting to see how the first ever touchscreen SideKick sells!

T-Mobile Announces G2x With Tegra Zone, Available This Spring

T-Mobile is starting a habit of rebranding devices to almost naked Android. This time, they’ve chosen the Optimus 2X, a new dual-core beast from LG. Being a big Android purist, I love the fact that they made it almost vanilla Android. I say “almost,” because they have preloaded some apps on it: Tegra Zone, Need for Speed Shift HD, Qik, T-Mobile TV, and DTS Ultra Mobile sound enhancer. The only down side to this phone is that it’s running Froyo. However, that’s an issue that will hopefully be overcome. It will be available sometime around April 20th, as leaked before.
Check out the full press release after the break.
Sprint Announces Nexus S 4G

Today Sprint announced a new device to their slowly growing, yet greatly improving line of Android devices. Sprint announced the Nexus S 4G, their fourth 4G phone. The Nexus S 4G will be sporting the same Super AMOLED screen that can be found on the T-Mobile’s Nexus S. Other specs are also just about exactly the same, so if you were hoping for a dual core Nexus S, you’re still going to have to wait.
