XTU has launched the S7Pro, a new action camera that pairs a 1/2-inch Sony CMOS sensor with HiSilicon AI processing to deliver 4K video at 50fps and native 48MP photos. The camera is available now for $159.99 in the US and £159.99 in the UK.
AI-Powered Imaging in a Compact Body
The S7Pro centers around a HiSilicon AI imaging pipeline working alongside a 1/2-inch Sony CMOS sensor. The sensor features 1.6um pixels and an F2.8 aperture behind a 152-degree seven-element ultra-wide lens. XTU says this combination improves dynamic range and low-light performance compared to smaller sensors, making it suitable for outdoor sports and travel shooting.
The camera captures 4K HDR video and 48MP stills, with AI processing intended to maintain detail across varying lighting conditions. A 2.29-inch touchscreen handles framing and playback directly on the device.

Stabilization Built for Movement
XTU equips the S7Pro with what it calls Stabilization 5.0, which includes horizon stabilization and 360-degree horizon correction. The camera also supports Gyroflow workflows for additional post-processing flexibility. These features target users shooting cycling, surfing, or other high-motion activities where keeping footage level matters.
The magnetic quick-release mounting system allows fast transitions between helmets, bikes, and tripods without fumbling with screws mid-ride.
Creator-Focused Features
Beyond basic capture, the S7Pro includes tools aimed at content creators. Wireless microphone support pairs with AI noise reduction for clearer audio. Live streaming capabilities let users broadcast directly to social platforms, and voice control enables hands-free operation.

The camera automatically switches between landscape and portrait orientations to match social media formats. Up to 50 seconds of 4K pre-recording ensures moments leading up to the record button press aren’t lost. An in-vehicle loop recording mode extends the camera’s utility to dashcam scenarios.
