Verizon announced the Pantech Breakout for September 22nd at $99 with a two-year service agreement and after a $50 mail-in rebate, making it the least expensive 4G LTE device Verizon had offered at the time. The Android 2.3 Gingerbread handset featured a 4-inch display, a 5-megapixel rear camera with 720p HD video, a VGA front-facing camera, 4G LTE, an 8GB preinstalled microSD card, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 3.0.
