U.S. Cellular announced that the waterproof and shock-proof Kyocera Hydro XTRM will join its smartphone roster. The 4G LTE handset runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and features a 4-inch impact-resistant display, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, Military Standard 810G certification (shock and drops), and IP57 certification (up to 3.28 feet of water for up to 30 minutes).
The Kyocera Hydro XTRM was priced at $29.99 with instant rebate and launched on May 24.
