TECNO to Showcase AI-Driven Innovations at MWC Barcelona 2025

TECNO is gearing up for a return to MWC Barcelona 2025, bringing a lineup of AI-powered products under the theme “Create the AI Future.” According to information from both GSMA and TECNO’s website, the brand is set to unveil a new CAMON Series smartphone, alongside AI glasses and a laptop, expanding its ecosystem of intelligent devices.

AI Takes Center Stage

TECNO has built a reputation for pushing AI-driven innovation, particularly in emerging markets. Last year, the company introduced the Pocket Go AR gaming system, the MEGA MINI Gaming G1 PC, the Dynamic 1 robotic dog, and the latest CAMON imaging flagship. For 2025, expectations are high for another wave of AI-powered devices designed to enhance creativity, productivity, and entertainment.

A new CAMON Series smartphone appears to be on the horizon, continuing TECNO’s tradition of camera-focused design with enhanced AI-driven imaging. Given the brand’s emphasis on computational photography and design inspired by classic cameras, the next CAMON device is likely to refine its imaging capabilities further.

TECNO may also spotlight its PHANTOM V Fold2 5G and PHANTOM V Flip2 5G, foldable smartphones introduced in 2024 that integrated advanced AI tools.

A First for AI Glasses?

TECNO’s MWC event page hints at AI-powered glasses, a category the brand has yet to enter. While details remain scarce, the move would align with its focus on smart imaging and AI-enhanced experiences. If confirmed, TECNO’s entry into the wearable AI space could introduce a new way for users to interact with their devices, blending real-world visuals with digital intelligence.

Alongside these developments, TECNO appears set to introduce a new laptop, likely a continuation of the MEGABOOK series, which has been known for lightweight designs and powerful hardware.

Concept Devices and Future Tech

MWC has long served as TECNO’s stage for showcasing futuristic ideas, and 2025 could be no exception. The PHANTOM Ultimate 2, an ultra-thin tri-fold concept smartphone, has been teased in concept videos but hasn’t yet been displayed in a physical prototype. Rumors suggest MWC25 could be its first public unveiling, offering a glimpse into TECNO’s vision for next-generation foldable technology.

The company may also debut its Starry Optical Fiber material, which was previously introduced in CES 2025 announcements but was not physically displayed. This innovation combines ultra-fine optical fibers with mini-LEDs, creating a unique sparkling effect on device surfaces.
