Transition Holding’s sub-brand Tecno has unveiled a new member in its signature Camon 30 series – the Tecno Camon 30S Pro. Tecno packs some interesting features in the Camon 30S Pro including impressive imaging capabilities, a stylish design, a decent processor, long-lasting battery life, and much more. Tecno went with MediaTek’s newly announced Helio G100 chipset for its latest Camon 30S Pro smartphone. The Helio G100 processor is based on TSMC’s 6nm architecture paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. For lenses, the smartphone features a 50MP Sony IMX896 primary sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor and a tertiary light sensor. At the front, there’s a 50MP sensor for selfies and video chats.
The Camon 30S Pro has a beautiful 6.78-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits peak brightness. The panel has a TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification. It boasts a massive 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support and 20W wireless charging support.
Other features of the Camon 30S Pro include Dolby-Atmos tuned stereo speakers, IP53 water and dust ingress protection, NFC, and WiFi 5 support.
The Camon 30S Pro is available in three stunning color options – Interstellar Grey, Pearl Gold, and Shimmering Silver Green. Tecno hasn’t revealed the pricing for the Camon 30S Pro. However, the device will be on sale from early August in Latin America, Southeast Asia, and other markets. Speaking of pricing, it will be announced at the time of release in each market, said Tecno.
