TECNO CAMON 30 Premier 5G Debuts with Advanced PolarAce Imaging System

TECNO has officially unveiled the CAMON 30 Premier 5G, a smartphone that sets a new standard in mobile videography, at MWC Barcelona 2024. Featuring the groundbreaking TECNO PolarAce Imaging System with the Sony Imaging Chip CXD5622GG, this device introduces 4K 30fps full-scene AI-NR HDR video to the smartphone industry for the first time. Slated for release in the second quarter of 2024, the CAMON 30 Premier 5G aims to deliver unparalleled mobile video imaging to users worldwide.

The CAMON 30 Premier 5G, designed with a nod to classic rangefinder cameras, combines a sleek, modern aesthetic with a robust build. Its lens frame, adorned with a zoom ring and metal texture, adds a professional feel. The device features an innovative “Action Dot” breathing light, serving multiple purposes including video recording indication and voice assistant activation. At its core, the CAMON 30 Premier 5G boasts a 70mm golden portrait focal length periscope lens, offering exceptional micro shots and up to 60x hybrid zoom capabilities.

Powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8200 Ultimate 5G chip, the CAMON 30 Premier 5G ensures high-speed performance and connectivity. This, paired with Sony’s CXD5622GG chip, enables the device to leverage dual-core interconnection for up to 21.258Gbps of high-speed transmission, significantly enhancing its imaging performance.

Introducing TECNO PolarAce Imaging System:

The TECNO PolarAce Imaging System, a collaborative innovation with Sony, marks a pivotal advancement in mobile videography. It features the industry-first Sony CXD5622GG Imaging Chip, offering significant computational power improvements with end-side FP16 floating-point computing. This system is equipped with four engines designed to enhance video capture in any condition, including NeuroNR Turbo for noise reduction, and NeuroHDR Turbo for HDR enhancement, ensuring smooth, detailed, and vibrant video content.

A Leap in Mobile Videography:

TECNO’s PolarAce sets new benchmarks for mobile imaging with features like 4K Ultra Night Vision and industry-leading energy efficiency. This allows for almost lossless image quality and sustainable energy consumption during high-resolution video capture.

Universal Tone Technology:

Further enhancing the CAMON 30 Premier 5G’s imaging capabilities is TECNO’s Universal Tone technology. This AI-powered multi-skin tone imaging technology ensures accurate and unbiased skin tone capture, celebrating the diversity of human beauty.

Outstanding Display Quality:

The CAMON 30 Premier 5G boasts the series’ best screen yet, a 1.5K LTPO display that offers a near-2K visual experience with the energy consumption of a 1080P screen. With full-chain one billion colors and 1400 nits peak brightness, it ensures a premium viewing experience that complements its advanced imaging capabilities.

With the launch of the CAMON 30 Premier 5G and the introduction of the TECNO PolarAce Imaging System, TECNO redefines mobile videography, promising users a superior content creation experience that leverages the latest in imaging technology and design innovation.
