TCL’s Palm-Powered Locks Secure Tomorrow’s Doors

TCL has made a bold statement at CES 2025 with the introduction of the TCL Smart Lock D1 Ultra, the world’s first four-in-one smart deadbolt. Combining a smart lock, security camera, video doorbell, and built-in display screen into a single device, the D1 Ultra highlights TCL’s commitment to innovation and its growing presence in the smart home space.

The D1 Ultra: Revolutionizing Home Security

At its CES showcase, TCL demonstrated how the D1 Ultra goes beyond the typical smart lock by integrating essential home security features into one compact device. This all-in-one design offers users a seamless experience by eliminating the need for multiple devices while enhancing security and convenience.

Key highlights include:

  • Four-in-One Functionality: The D1 Ultra combines a smart lock, video doorbell, security camera, and 3.5-inch indoor screen to deliver a streamlined home security solution.
  • 2K Ultra-Clear Video with AI-Powered Detection: Its built-in camera provides a 172° field of view, while dual-motion sensors and AI algorithms ensure accurate monitoring and notifications.
  • Real-Time Visitor Display: The integrated indoor screen lights up when someone rings the doorbell, showing a live feed of your visitor for immediate identification.
  • Six Unlock Methods: Options include fingerprint, voice commands (Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa), app control, mechanical keys, and more.

TCL’s CES demo emphasized the lock’s robust design, including IP65 weatherproofing and a 10,000mAh rechargeable battery, enabling year-round operation even in extreme conditions.

TCL Smart Lock D1 Pro: Another CES Star

In addition to the D1 Ultra, TCL highlighted its D1 Pro, a versatile smart lock already available for purchase. Featuring AI-powered palm vein recognition, the D1 Pro offers a contactless biometric unlocking method that prioritizes security and flexibility.

This model provides seven unlocking methods, Wi-Fi connectivity for remote management, and durable, weather-resistant construction. With an MSRP of $199.99, the D1 Pro is an appealing choice for those seeking advanced features at an accessible price point.

TCL Expands Its Smart Home Portfolio

TCL’s CES 2025 presentation underscores its growing focus on smart home technology. The D1 Ultra’s cutting-edge integration of security and convenience positions the brand as a serious contender in the home automation market.

Set to launch in Q1 2025, the D1 Ultra reflects TCL’s vision for smarter, more connected living. While the pricing is still to be announced, its feature-rich design promises to make waves in the smart home ecosystem.

Whether you’re looking for all-in-one functionality or reliable, stand-alone security, TCL’s D1 Ultra and D1 Pro provide compelling solutions for modern households.
